The fact that the amount of skill points you spend while playing as one character largely throughout the game adds if and can transfer over to another characters new play through is amazing!
Question is how much replay ability is the story? Is there just an added cut scene for the new character or different ending? With 2 years of game development hopefully there is more right than wrong with the game. But it does make me ask why Warner Brothers went away from this storyline on big screen?
@@hellwashere3821 lmao what? What makes you think its a bot comment? I’ve literally said what’s happening in the video. They are giving you detail info about every bit of gameplay mechanics and how they have developed the rpg system keeping the player’s experience in mind. You gotta appreciate the efforts the team is putting to help us make a decision whether this game is for us or not.
@@Fahadfury "game team" ? bro do you work for these people? there's also other comments using the word "team" which really isn't used in comment sections for game trailers
This isn't marketing to beg you to buy the game. This is them showing you exactly what your spending your money on so there's no delusions or disappointment about what you are getting. If you end up disappointed its because you didn't do your research before you brought it
Exactly! They’ve been very transparent and yet there’s still people mad cause it’s not an action adventure game like Arkham when it NEVER set out to be that
@@aschente8455 there’s a difference between being disappointed in a games quality/broken promises (like cyberpunk) and being disappointed that a game isn’t the game YOU want it to be when it never promised to be that. (There are tons of comment mad that it’s not Arkham or that it’s an rpg)
The skill tree, the way Gotham looks and the deep history behind it, being able to pick through each member of the Bat Family, focusing the story on the Bat Family coping with the loss of Batman. Everything about this game seems really interesting EXCEPT for the actual gameplay
We really need a demo for this game to test out combat and traversal, bus mostly combat. I’m going through Arkham Knight again right now and it’s just perfect. It sets a seriously high bar for this game.
One fact for u right now - there won't be any counter-attack system implemented. For me it's already a no buy after Arkham series. Besides, Gotham Knights ain't in Arkham Verse.
@@aschente8455 and if you’ve played Spider-Man the counter attack is jus more like a dodge time it perfect and you get a counter it’s more skill based then just pressing triangle 🤣
So far...this team is doing everything right. Skill tree element...how they built the city, the amount of time and care they put into the history of Gotham. Very curious if the mechanics hold up. Last time seeing the combat...wasn't that impressed. Looking forward to getting my hands on it.
We are still talking about the same folks who made Arkham Origins, people who know what they’re doing and love the subject, sure things not some newbie.
I’m hoping each character has a Batman style suit but with their own twist, such as having their own logo instead of the Batman logo (robin could have a red robin logo)
Someone recently pointed something interesting in 16 min Batgirl gameplay video which is tied with her heroic glide traversal. She have a short cape in that gameplay so maybe Batgirl realizes through the story that she needs that cape to be longer to be able to glide? Since this is not tied with Arkham verse we honestly don't know how Batman was traversing through Gotham City, maybe he was just swinging between buildings like in the comics? That would make sense why Batgirl didn't get taught how to glide.
Not at all weird considering that batman started using the cape to glide for the first time with Nolan's movies. Decades before that the cape was just for fashion, LOL
@@Splinter07 are you sure this doesn't take place in the Arkham verse? They keep mentioning Bruce's passing which is what happened at the end of Arkham knight

no. every character has unique traversal. ie batgirl and nightwing glide, robin has a short teleport. red hood has that double jump. u have to unlock it,
This game needs to be appreciated and enjoyed outside of the shadow of the rocksteady games. This clearly is an entirely different game from those and that’s fine
WB Montreal wouldn’t exist without using rocksteadys Batman IP for Arkham origins and that game still had problems now they doing their own thing without any help and it clearly shows who’s the actually talented developer

@@aschente8455 marvels avengers was a game as a service. this is a normal campaign that involves co-op play if wanted. game already is leagues better lol
@@aschente8455 wow people like you amaze me, if you don’t want the game that’s fine but to wish for something people out work and passion into to fail just because is so…rude and inconsiderate be better
This tree is way too small and even smaller than you think as most upgrades they scrolled through aren’t even SKILLS but are just BUFFS. We want skills not buffs.
just wanna play with a friend tbh thats the best feature about this game and the character selection story better be top notch considering what its dealing with.
The game looks interesting narrative wise and with most of what they’re doing it just sadly looks kindve disappointing in everything I’ve seen combat wise which makes sense considering it has to followup the amazing free flow combat of the Arkham games but it’s still disappointing
Everything about this game is starting to look amazing… apart from its combat and traversal. Why do they turn into dots that have 5 seconds of use, rather than gliding
@@bigplayquay9891 don't cry and just enjoy the game. you're already complaining and it isn't even out yet. view it as a multiverse story. a red hood from an alternate timeline or something

love the way the skill trees work, still would love to see what the highest difficulty of the game would be since i’m not really sure much about the aggressiveness of the enemies.
@@aschente8455 Actually there is counter attack you just aren't aware because "perhaps" you don't care to focus on that game that much but if you would do you would notice that there is a counter system that works kind of like Marvel Spiderman counter attack which means if you perfect dodge enemy attack you can counter that attack to finish bad guys quickly.
Man like they’re so small and most of them are just percentage increases. I’m playing horizon forbidden west rn and the skill trees in that game are what I’d call actual skill trees
Okay, having actually played the game…. Why exactly did they make it so that the skill points were the _only_ thing shared between the characters? Everything else, the momentum abilities, the knighthood stuff, that all gets reset to each individual character. And that makes up way more of the bulk of the game’s grind then the skill trees. For wanting a system where progression for one character means progression for all characters, it still feels like I’m being pigeonholed into only playing one character.
@@rumuelnathanael8043 you forgot to say "i'm an elitest" in that comment, without casuals you so called "experienced gamers" wouldn't have anything to play, did you forget that you were a casual before getting that gigantic ego?
Better question, why did they scrap the Arkham sequel to knight which was gonna use that amazing smooth engine for this garbage that looks like a high budget mobile game
The way it was explained in the video, it seems as though those narrative "epiphanies" are missable for some characters once the "main" character realizes theirs?
They pretending to know the characters soo well, meanwhile redhood put on abt 200lbs… like they totally destroyed his character in this game,😭im standing on my opinion
