Exactly. When i saw the trailer i was very excited that we can play with all the protagonists. But i am disappointed with the the co-op shit and its not exciting anymore

This game is the WB one. I guess now we pin all of our hopes on the Suicide Squad game by Rocksteady. Shame it came to this.

@@FPSgAMesRuLe not only that but on the harder difficulty he had much more health and you actually needed to use stealth attacks that you never used before.

That's the only fucking fight that's like that in the entire game. No other enemy or boss adapts to your attacks in the game. You just want to complain about something and it's kinda fucking obvious.

Is like Avengers all over again, not to mention performance and visuals are exactly the same as Arkham Knight, adding all that, is not looking good. I doubt Akrham fans (including myself) wanted a service nonsense, with loot and level progression.

Unfortunately a lot of these games are going this route it's a sad thing. They want people to continuously play their games as a live service.

Except this isn't a service game, and even Cyberpunk 2077 has levels and loot.

I also suggest you watch recent community developer Q & A as well. There's a very clear statement there saying: "We are making a role-playing game, it's all up to you. Sometimes you might make a friend or a lover, or sometimes you might make an enemy. But it's really important to us to have these characters that can be with you in your story and wherever it makes sense for them to be." It can't get any clearer than that.

I think you can make it kinda like Arkham you defeat enemies you get new things or weapons as the story progresses and you get a skill tree to be better fighter or gadget user or weapons user or all 3 the leveling system is not needed at all. Avengers tried this and it didn't work out.

@@kingzrjaygaming8536 The leveling and the gear system adds nothing to the game other than increasing the playtime. It's the usual Ubisoft bullshit: 'oh, you wanna continue playing? Bummer, your gear level is too low. now go grind for a few hours to level up and get better gear and come back cause these newer enemies have more health. Instead of better designed levels and bosses and enemies that require people to think of new tactics, the progression is tied to grinding.

It's not linear, it's just how they're playing this. We didn't see everything in the level and the indoor combat section is clearly designed to also be playable in stealth, with the gargoyles and open layout. You're complaining about something that doesn't exist

They did make it sound like the enemies will scale with you. The battle with Freeze would be vastly different if you fought him at level 5 vs a higher level. So who knows, you might not encounter issues like that

The Arkham games all had level up systems. First time I encounter someone with a machete I get my ass kicked because I didn't know you can't hit them from the front. I just go do side quests and suddenly my suit takes less damage from blade weapons. IMMERSION! Also they said enemies scale with you and bosses have more moves if you take them on at a higher level. They aren't just increasing stats for enemies because your stats went up, they get smarter and use different moves, maybe even have higher tier enemies. Imagine being low level and doing a story mission filled with basic thugs. On your next playthrough you do more side content and do the same mission art a higher level. The big bad just watched you kick his thug's asses so he decides to instead put his higher ranking thugs around his important thing or even hires the league of shadows to protect/steal the thing. Leveling up and enemies scaling with you doesn't have to mean enemies just have more health. It can mean all kinds of things. It's been done before and done well.

I don't like it too, but maybe it will not be that big of a deal, I mostly end up being at least few levels above needed lvl for the area in any game, be in Destiny or Assassins... Just wait for the game, it's too late probably to change it anyways.

i thought they said it’ll have scaling levels. At the end the announcer talks about it changing if you’re level 5 or level 15.

Hell, if anything I think a lot of *proper* traditional RPG could just be better without throwing in levels everywhere. Imagine how fitting I can find them on an action adventure.

The Arkham games has a "leveling" system too. We don't know what the core mechanics actually are yet. Pipe down.

Free flow hybrid, it’s just changed to shake things up. And arkham games had a levelling system, house else wld u get upgrade points. And the enemy level system is difficulty not ‘u have to be this level to play’ which is the same as the arkham games they just didnt show it

I don't think you understand what GaaS means. Maybe it will be GaaS at release but nothing has pointed to it being a GaaS yet. That would mean the AC games, Shadow of Mordor etc.. are GaaS which obviously they are not.

@@dlux7357 Not really level scaling is actually a good mechanic in an rpg of any kind. To be clear level scaling is the idea that enemies or items scale with you. That doesn't make a game bad. Live service games on the other hand are a plauge on gaming. This game having a leveling system isn't really a big deal though most games have some sort of leveling system to help with character progression im pretty the previous batman games had an xp system so I dont think this is going to be doing much different than them

Well, at the end of Arkham Knight, Batman did die with an explosion at the mansion. It was called Knightcall Protocol. It still does not support the fact that the graphics are terrible, to me at least, and they are focusing on co-op in this game. It would probably be better just to play Arkham Knight again lol.

So you want freeflow for all the 4 characters? Have you played arkham knight? It just felt like the same character with a different skin. A hybrid system between freeflow and something else is better

I agree. Everything in the two gameplay demo's looks interesting enough for me to want the game, but I don't think they should have tried to put it in the "Arkham" Series. They've deviated too much from it, and they're just trying to cash in. Although I just realized as i'm typing this that it doesn't carry the Arkham title. That makes me a little less salty, and more open to the different gameplay.

@@dangamer8884 AK was a misunderstood masterpiece. Boss fights should've been better, but the general gameplay was amazing and story was good while ending provided multiple possibilities which all made sense.
