to your thoughts about background music when drawing. I've just started to realize how affected I am by sound. say if something is playing fast or shifting a lot in speed. it affects my work. my hand ends up moving too fast and gets lost and messy. I've been playing rain sounds and telling myself to slow down repeatedly. and I'm happier with the outcome.
