You going to McDonald’s, 711 and the grocery store make me miss Hawaii the most. I miss being able to just exist and get something I like. Something comforting. In Texas yeah we have a good diverse food culture. I can get most things that I want but I will have to go to a special area of town.
Yup same in Utah. There was a 7/11 here was owned by a couple from Hawaii and sold same ting like home. I'd have to be craving for me to drive that far🤪🤙🏾🤟🏾💚
Hawaii is the bomb, even the crappy gas stations in the middle of nowhere have amazing ready made food. Spam musubi, noodles, sushi, poke, buns with all kinds of fillings. Its amazing. 🍱
my eyes caught "boy bawang" when her camera pans over the snack section! amaziiiing! there's indeed a boy bawang in 711 Hawaii! omg I can't believe it?!🤣👍
Yeah, Manapua is something you get from more specialty spots (Chun Wah Kam is personally my favorite, but its only on Oʻahu) & not something you'd get from 7/11 & if you DO, you get the white (steam bun) version that's usually in the hot foods section.
I fly to Hawaii tmw morning to visit my dad, I’ve never been before and I’ve been super nervous about it. But ngl these videos get me excited seeing all the cool food and snacks B)
You need to try the for real machine milkshakes. I have not had one since about second grade, but I promise you they are so good. For me, they taste straight like nostalgia.
I would absolutely love to try out the 7-Eleven in Hawaii, I just went to one in Denver today and got the most sad looking chicken and cheese lunch meat sandwich for $5. I would love one of those musubi!
Must try the spicy ahi inari bombs and maki sushi next time at 7-11! Also the only baked char siu manapua you should be eating in Hawaii has to be from Chun Wah Kam 💗🌺 Aloha!
Omg I miss living in Hawaii strictly for the food you must go to Foodland and try the kimchi shrimp and don’t forget the north shore shrimp truck and lomi lomi salmon I just love you btw your amazing!
Never get the Manapua that needs to be heated up. Only buy the one in the warm case! It’s one of my favorites on the island I live on - not the same island you went to though
