I think its because she's coming back after being injured. Grace has always had a gorgeous beam.

i loved it when my coach did this to me... made it feel like training and i wouldnt overthink. tbh you only register a tiny % of noise around you when in the zone so its likely a moot point

No, this quad they took out half turns, so she would get awarded a double turn and triple turn accordingly. After her mistakenly doing 2.5 the first time, she could have done just 3 the second time, but maybe she felt confident and wanted to finish in the same position, as to not throw her off!
