Hold on sir you're down on the Mathurin pick but Sharpe is A based on what exactly? You haven't seen him do anything against high level competition. Everything you think he can do against NBA athletes is purely speculation. Jaden Hardy was a top 5 prospect for the NBA starting last year and he just got drafted in the second round. So what does anything he did in HS matter. All high level HS prospect look great against their weaker less athletic peers. As a matter of fact Sharpe only had 1 great year of HS. This is what I'm talking about? Mathurin was a top 10 projected player coming into the year. It wasn't just the tournament he played amazing all year which is why Arizona was #2 in the nation. He was the leader of the team. Where do you guys get this stuff from? Do you actually watch film on these guys or any games or do you just look at projections. But everyone is entitled to an opinion no matter how flawed the logic is.
You make great points but your missing the one his is saying. Sharpe had the opportunity to be the best player in the draft class ( as he said in the video) and the trailblazers are the perfect team to take that chance. I think long term if everything goes right cause sometimes even top picks don’t pan out, but if they go right in the long term sharpe has the higher ceiling
It‘s all about projection. Sharpe would‘ve been a Top 3 pick guaranteed next draft even Calipari said and the dude had 4 first pick already so he knows what he‘s talking about. Watch the Sharpe workout on the Blazers IG, he looked great. I think Mathurin will be a role player and I had him 12th on my big board while I had Sharpe at 3. Ofc Sharpe could become a bust and Mathurin a steal but I project Sharpe to become a star and the best player in this draft.

Keegan was a better fit, plus Ivey didn’t want to go to Sacramento. The only issue of them picking Murray is that they could’ve traded back, maybe gotten more value at four. But I can’t disagree with the choice. Picking safely for the Kings is something they needed to do especially after messing up significant picks for a decade and a half Plus, they already have Fox, Davion and Divicenzo as their guards, they needed a three/four.

This rating was somewhat shortsighted. Spurs need a size at forward depth with a lot of defensive skillset to bring to the table, so Sochan fits the need. Don't forget we also picked Malaki Branham and Blake Wesley who might turn to be the offensive firepower we need.
I think Branham maybe the steal of the draft. Here in Michigan I watched a lot of Big Ten hoops and seeing him last year I thought he'd be a lottery pick. Being a Pistons fan I hoped that they'd make a deal to get back in the first round to snag him but instead they went with Jalen Duren, which did make sense for their team. Still, I think Branham has major potential.

Jeremy Sochan>Dyson Daniels 100%. Daniels is going to be a guy that comes off the bench in NO and he’s not the best shooter. Sochan might start at the 4 right away for the Spurs and be a potential defensive lockdown. Also he’s played on the polish national team so he has way more experience against higher level competition.

He’s not really a great shooter and he has a big body and physicality but only slightly above average athleticism. He made it look easy bullying slower, smaller college players inside but he will likely have more difficulty replicating it in the NBA. Don’t get me wrong, he’s got a lot of game and you can’t say he was the wrong pick for Orl right now. But I could easily see him not being the best player in the draft or even the best of the top 3 when we look back in a few years.

I think you were too harsh on the Kings. Firstly, Ivey did not want to play for them, so why draft a guy who doesn’t want to be there? Secondly, They already have 2 talented young guards. Ivey was not a great fit or a necessity for them, so Keegan made more sense. Plus, Keegan was still a consensus top 5/6 guy so taking him at 4 is hardly a disaster.

As stated in the video his defense isn’t great either because of stated athletic limitations. As a Pacers fan Bennedict is a perfect fit into Tyreeses style. The pacers rebuild Is set around Tyrese and for good reason since he is arguably one of the best passers in the whole league if not that the best. Also Malcolm is getting traded so we don't need another starting guard.

Ivey was my #2 pick after Jabari. If Pistons didn't land Jabari, I would have taken Ivey at our supposed #3 (which we would have landed Jabari). When we got selected #5, my hope was the Kings take Shaedon Sharpe at #4, and we easily take Ivey at #5. And if the Kings took Ivey, we take Shaedon Sharpe and pray he's the next Kobe. And the Kings drafted Keegan Murray.

paolo does not even want to be drafted by orlando. He will be a future lakers in the post-lebron era. 2026/27 is probably when he will be with the lakers. Coincidentally, 2/3 former #1 draft picks by orlando became lakers as well in Dwight Howard and Shaq. Chris Webber was drafted by orlando but immediately traded to GSW.
Gotta play both sides of the coin. They need to win now, but picking a guard to develop for after Dame's prime is essential. Plus, Sharpe is big and getting bigger with a huge wingspan. Since the OG Anunoby trade didn't go through, keeping Sharpe and developing him is crucial for the future.
Just some feedback, but when a team didn’t get an A I would like to know what you think they could have done better at the pick and with the players available. I think you did that for Kings and Spurs but not the others.

Feel like your sochan analysis is way off. He could be a monster defensively. The athletic had him 6th on their big board and mocked 9th. Don’t see it as a reach at all
