Actually there is a physical copy UMD for the PSP console. It is called: Gradius Collection (USA) Gradius Portable (JPN)

There is a trick for the blocks: just bait some of the first blocks near to a corner (not in the corner itself) and build yourself a "wall". All the blocks are coming from the same place and they all will throw themselves to that wall of yours as you keep yourself, still and calm for a pair of minutes. You could go to the restroom while you're at it XD

@@emerbinoluan573 Godlike ? Nah ... anybody can do this if they were willing & persistent enough to put their achieved skills into the test after a long hard practice. It took me about 1 year of revision on the game mechanics & AI - with physical & mental training to have the necessary speed of reflexes & reactions to turn the situation to my favor when battling those bosses. I also used to be a very casual player in my early days of playing the Gradius series until i saw those insane gameplays here on youtube which motivated me to work hard on improving my skills by focusing closely on the pros gameplays then using save & load feature in later releases of the Gradius series titles which heavily helped on improving my tactics & strategies.

Glad to know it thanks ^^ If you're into a fair game in difficulty ( even on hardest ) then i advice you to try this masterpiece ^^

Ken G True - but don't try bullet hells like keepers core on Gradius V X) PS : to be honest - i was shivering of nervousness when i reached Heavens Gate XP

Simple - just keep playing & saving every time you finish your gameplay to let your playing time be registered in the data to gain extra credits until you reach free play. Also to unlock higher loops you need to finish a single loop then after starting the next loop just finish the first stage on the next loop then save the game to make sure to unlock stage select mode.

Oh, that's very interesting. How do you save the game? I forgot how to do it because the PSP that has the game (Gradius Collection) went missing, sadly.

@@TAT1101 you can save in the option menu. There is a save & load selection in the menu or called memory card or data.

@@TAT1101 In Gradius Collection yes if you pause the game in the pause menu 😉 Make sure to save the game every time you finish the gameplay & just in case - do it manually in the option menu 👍 The option menu is available in-game at the main menu screen 👍 You need to collect time of your gameplay about total of maybe over 17 hours for free play mode, but i don't mean 17 hours straight - no - i mean like play at least 1 hour a day then save the game until you reach 17 hours.

The difficulty is doubled by the loop. This was played at maximum loop & difficulty.

I think it was something like Seppuku ( Samurai Suicide - Honor Code ) killing himself once he disgrace himself or it could be an error in the cpu of Delta-Tri after destroying the core, but since he do it also without the core being destroyed can lead to the conclusion that it could be Seppuku for being disgraced for not finishing off the enemy in time X)

That's make good sense , interesting . This game is created by Konami ( Japanese Company ) after all ^_^

Also , it's very unique way and idea to do Seppuku too ^_^

Not really a danmaku - more like an intelligent battling tactics from the AI by using enough weaponry attacks to put the player on the most minimum chances of maneuver :) In short : An *Intelligent Tactical Battle.* Or *I.T.B*
