Gran Turismo 7 - ONE YEAR LATER 

I don't play racing games, but they are absolutely gorgeous. I have a hard time thinking that, in like 20 years, they look considerably better than they do now. GT7 is gorgeous.

I still can't forget that sony revealed the microtransaction prices after sometime when this game got a good metacritic score. They played dirty.

The online requirement for single player content hurts me. Had my first go on GT7 while visiting a friend, but they didn't have the latest update installed, so we only had Music Rally. It was also frustrating that even after downloading the update, split screen multiplayer wasn't available as they hadn't got far enough in the Cafe Menus. I can sort of understand withholding the online multiplayer until players have some experience, but why local multi? And what content will be available in 10 years time when the servers are shut down? Just the Music Rally? My copy of GT4 still works great 19 years on. I still thought the game was great, and I'm keen to buy it myself so I can play my friend online. But I can't reward the devs/pubs for the online requirement for single-player and local multiplayer, so I'll be picking it up used if I can find it cheap.

why are we not talking about those god awful free tickets that ALWAYS land on the same slot no matter how many of those tickets you earn and open. There is 5 possible rewards per ticket, but they 100% of the time land on what ever is in the 4th slot. its annoying and stupid and I cant believe that's still a thing even a year later. I cannot be the only player that still experiences this

I got it 3 weeks ago at $20. Haven't stop playing since then. Great game.

Psvr2 is a game changer, simply fantastic way to play GT7

With vr this game is a real blast, the pontential for this game is good, they just need to sort out the career mode

I was wondering about the always online aspect. I live in a city and at peak hours my internet goes out. I won't get this game if always online is still implemented.

Cars graphic are awsome. But some thing u can not change. And this is heart of playing. Campagain is Best in gt 4. And only one City course, where is san marino, London, Rome and Madrid. Only 2 New corsers adeed, i Miss old tracks in gt 7

I'm still waiting for the 32 Roadster to show up on legendary cars and so far no sight of it and I even have the engine swap for it as well.

We need Campain DLC , new Championships!! With old tracks we dont mind, give more championships!!

I want Beginner, Amateur, Professional, Extreme and Endurance added back as it was in GT3 and GT4. I want to be able to enter the all legendary *Sunday Cup* all over again and have the feeling of starting a game that is going to last me for several months.

Micro transactions and always online = no buy

They spend years and years making these games “not fun”

All I do is grind Sardegna for 4 hours every day since completing the game 3 weeks ago. Also most cool cars have no good races, so the awesome 10.000.000 credit F1 car you just grinded 15 hours for has to be detuned with shitty wheels and weights until it drives like a boat to match the 800pp requirement.

The psvr2 addition brought new life to this game for me. Between that and buying a wheel, I have been floored with the experience.

glad to see this game is doing better these days, wanted to get a lil after launch but heard the grind process to get enough money to get new or legendary cars

We need more modern cars with the updates. Most of the cars are dated with their modern counterparts being 2-3 generations ahead of what we have available in-game.

I have GT7 and its a really fun game.

Despite the fact Kaz said GT 7 was the game is fans was waiting for it's not what I was waiting for. I've played every single GT game from the first one 25 years ago. If it was the GT Game I was waiting for it wouldn't have the single player modes locked into online only and if you lose internet you can only play that music mode thing or arcade mode. If it was the game I was waiting for I would be able to start from the beginning without being forced to create a new pdn account. There's no other way to start from the beginning. If it was the game I was waiting for it wouldn't have engine swaps and a lot of upgrades locked to a roulette. I've cleared the single player modes and I still haven't received an engine swap in the roulette. If it was the game I was waiting for there would be a proper single player campaign instead of that cafepdr thing that replaces the campaign mode that's been in every GT game. GT 7 is a decent racing game but I have no interest in playing it now because I've cleared it and I have no interest in crash fest online races. If it was the game I was waiting for it would have most of the original GT fantasy tracks but it's missing most of the original tracks with a few there bit heavily modified and nothing like the original track. I don't like what they done with Deep Forest. If by an extremely tiny chance they actually add the ability to start over I will be happy to play it over again. Until then. It's gathering digital dust on my PS4 Pro.

Do you still have to buy certain tires for online races??? If so then it's still terrible

the game stills too clean and sterile, doesnt feel real. iimmersions is broken when you hit as wall at 120mph and your car has less than a scratch.

Nobody was ever driven to microtransactions people just didn't take into account all the circuit experience credits. I got 700 hours in the game and not required a single microtransaction before or after any updates.

That is really misleading. Almost none of the issues were resolved. Single player still sucks, cafe still a parody, barely no "Gran Turismo" mode, most cars have no purpose. The problem was never microtransactions in themselves, nothing they promise pre-release was added to the game.

we need sophie on all singleplyer expirience, and all the races should have a qualify and grid start, i hate the start last, now you have x laps to catch the first car. add that to the current AI is so boring. personally to make the single player more enjoyable more fun i completly remove all UI/HUD playing on cokpit view, i make a lot of mistakes because of it and takes a lot more trial error to beat one race.

Micro transactions are so gross. If I spend $80 for a game I don’t want to be nickel and dimed.

Looks gorgeous but it’s not for my liking at all… I had mad fun with drive club on ps4 and now playing Grid legends on ps5 but can not make myself like GT

I need to get the Pontiac GTO Judge. My dad has a real one. He knows nothing about video games and I showed him the car in the game and his jaw dropped. He thought it was a real race on TV and not a CGI video game.

Gran Turismo 7 is truly pulling off a No Man’s Sky after a shitty launch. This is a huge step up for the game.

This game requires a 24/7 connection to the internet and most features are locked unless you have a PS+ monthly membership. no thanks. Worse move ever!

How do you play all tracks, dont say I have to fuss about earning to get them one by one ??? I am 62, I dont want to ass about doing that, I want to have fun and do all the tracks and cars from the stat. Thay have lost Millions on dong this, as so many are not buying cos of this, and I think I will and back if I cant, as unsure ??? Also how do I race on keyboards, hate controller, its not driving. Thank you.

Can’t believe the game is 1 year old now and the user score on Metacritic only increased by 0.2 Personally I’ve never had problems making money even as of now I have 5.9M credits in the game and have 2 expensive cars without spending a penny

It's now an outstanding game? Lol, it always has been. It's a shame that people will say a game is not outstanding, because it has some microtransactions that were unpopular to the public. It's a simple solution, DONT BUY THEM!!!! GT7 has made many improvements that makes it an even better game, but it is always been an outstanding game, since day one.
