Grand Canyon Mural Time-lapse 

Thank you very much Terry! I have not had any schooling for my work. Trial and error has been my learning process. I was never very good at school. I examine other's work all the time to see how I can get better.

I am an artist who has been stuck .... can't move forward ... can't pick up a brush ... I have all these Inspirations but I'm stuck! So I decided to start watching different RU-vid videos on painting. God blessed me! I found your channel and I subscribed. Your paintings are so beautiful I almost cry for joy! Thank you and God bless you for inspiring me, for filling my mind with light, you are such a fine talent!

Every time I see these murals be painted, its like magic to me. That transition from shades of coloring on the wall to those fine details that bring the whole painting to life. Simply fascinating.

The way you reshape those already amazing clouds into another pattern of clouds, you're basically like the natural wind itself!! Making them just the way you want it, I love it.

1st watching your videos made me feel so inept. Then I started to see how we have very similar technics and I leave now feeling extremely validated. BRAVO to the MASTER!

Thank you for the very nice compliments! I always reference many photos in order to put together my own compositions. It's always an intensive study for me as well as a learning experience. I find that I make better progress if I don't follow one single picture for a model.

Whew, I don't feel so bad now Joe. I did a mural 100'x16' in 8 months. It had like fake store fronts all done to look like actual stores, with peoples portraits, lifesize, and various other elements that made it look realistic. Even had forced perspective. Knowing this took you 4 weeks makes me feel better. LOL

Hello Joe. Great wotk on the mural. Makes the roon more specious for sure. Also, have you though of some kind of elevated palette? It would save you having to reach down for paint to load your brush. Keep it up anyways. Thumbs up.
