OMG the Grand Hotel is the spot of one of my all time favorite movies "Somewhere In Time" with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. Just seeing that in the backdrop of your video brings back up the memory of that movie

I had the complete JOY of being there about 3 weeks ago. The day we spent there was so beautiful - the gardens in full glory and the weather was perfect. I kept saying 'Oh, I saw this one on Garden Answer and Laura said....'. My dream would be to go back during the actual garden show so I can slowly stroll thru each yard and not troll them from the sidewalk. ;)

Thanks for allowing us to live vicariously through you at the garden show which is on my bucket list to attend. I love all the flower combinations but I was super excited when I saw the pineapple statue. I just purchased one Monday to go in my garden. I know it will be beautiful. Oh my goodness!!! I would love to see all the stunning gardens in person! Maybe I should plan a trip up for my husband and I for our 40th wedding anniversary next year. Thank you for sharing your trip and giving us all beautiful glimpses of the gardens and area!

O my word, my jealously level just rose 100%, I so want to go to the island and to the show. Thank you so much for showing these beds, this is totally my style of planting and I saw several things I would like to try to work into my beds. I also loved the container ideas, I have over 40 pots and containers in my garden and I am always looking for new ideas. I now need to go look for a second job to pay for all these ideas! LOL. Can't wait to see more from the trip!

Wow that front bed is no joke! There must be a hundred varieties of flowers in there. It's amazing. It's gorgeous and defies many of the strict rules of bed planting which I like.

The pineapple bed was one of my favorites. I loved the combination of color and movement. Laura and Aaron, it was such a pleasure meeting you both after having followed your journey these last few years. Good Morning! 😀☕️💚 Beautiful way to start the day with such stunning flower beds. One of the things we love so much about Jack Barnwell is how he loves mixing in reds and pinks. I adore red and pink so much in the garden and it’s nice to see it can be done in such a lovely way. We do have to say it seems like the pop of white was the star so pretty! I grew up in Michigan, Mackinaw Island is the best! I enjoyed seeing the flowers from my childhood, many of which will not grow in Texas where I am now.

We went to Mackinac Island in June this year. The Lilacs were blooming when we went. The island was so beautiful!!

Oh have been waiting for a video from Mackinac Island. I would be in plant overload. It would be interesting to see how the clean up for winter and how everything comes to the island for spring plantings.

I was trying to not put red in my flower beds because I was following Laura’s footsteps. But last year I came across some red geraniums on clearance for $1 and couldn’t pass up. Once I popped them in...oh my they looked beautiful! It brightened up the space.

How amazing that you could see all of this beauty in one location. I am so inspired to do some of these plants in my own garden, I really love the purple fountain grass, and plan on putting at least three of them in my front yard, maybe a few in my small back yard as well. I love dahlias they are such a beautiful flower with a gorgeous structure and there are so many different colors and that's what I love. Aaron you are so good at avoiding the windy sound when you film which is just amazing. Thank you both so much this was an awesome video.
