19:05 through 19:57 I love this whole part. Mainly because of the novel reference of Christine. Dennis has a nightmare about Christine in front of him. He was unable to move during the whole event. Hearing the engine revving and seeing the Plymouth ready to lunge out toward him. A few hops forward before speeding at him, Dennis was then awaken from his nightmare in a cold sweat. :O Loving that reference.
same dude, just finished the book yesterday, I got all giggly when I saw someone reference that part and the engine gunning and falling off a few times before going in for the kill
“One guy was smeared against the wall so bad they had to use a shovel to scoop him up” “Well isn’t that what your supposed to do with shit, scoop it up with a shovel?”
Hi everyone, this is a remake of our first Christine video back in 2014, i really hope you will enjoy watching it ! Don't hesitate to comment, this is really a great motivation for us to read you all. Thank you to everyone who follow us for many years now, Christine is very important to us, because... well... she's possessive ! Thank you for watching, and thank you for your support. EDIT : 100k ! Thank you ! EDIT : 200k ! Awesome, thank you all ! EDIT : 400k
She doesn’t need a GPS. She just need to know where she had been so she can ambush or trap victims. And plus, she is an immortal classic car, which I do like, and people just don’t make horror car movies like they use to. Thank you for making this.
Just when I think they can't get any better, you manage to somehow do it! You have really done the whole story and concept of Christine justice. This was amazing and beautiful work!! I love watching all of your Christine movies and was completely surprised when I saw this one show up on my youtube. Thank you so much for all of the hard work and dedication you put into making these and I really hope we get to see some more! Much love to you!!
I was very impressed with the performance of everything and I was like “man this would be almost impossible without a menu” then I saw it was all done on ps4 and I had immediate respect I have to ask how did you guys make this? From what I’ve seen the only way I can think of is if you made the set in a gta race. Based off of being able to shoot with no cops, the props paying around and the fact that all the cars are part of the sports classics category.
Watched this last year, liked it then, still like it now. You and your team did an amazing job recreating this classic. Love that "Ok show me" was the only dialog needed, editing was phenomenal, music was on point, just beautifully crafted. Love the way you put together the ending as well, paying respect to each cast member.
I've never actually watched a GTA cinematic in full, except for some shorts but this definitely seems like it took a lot of work and coordination to make, especially without the help of mods for PC since this was done all through PS4. I'm definitely impressed and watched it through to the end and wasn't disappointed in what I saw, good music choice too.
I’m just seeing this and holy cow man! I’m a huge fan of the novel and the film. You’ve managed to incorporate both into this short film without making it corny and keeping it original! Just this alone as a sequel would be awesome! (I love the breaking bad reference!) your editing skills are amazing and the way you work around the game’s physics limitations to still manage to make it cinematic. You really know how to set the tone to make this actually suspenseful. Great job with the pace and keeping me guessing. You really understood the mood of the film. From Christine’s predatory movements by keeping its (eyes) headlights aimed at its prey. Like a cat playing with its dinner. to the subtle nods to the film but with your own little twist. Points for using OST as well as the retro remix by carpenter. And using Arnies infamous “show me” is just the icing. What else can I say!? This is a work of art man. You need praise for this by King and Carpenter! Keep it up! Also I always thought it would be cool if Arnie and Christine worked together the way you made it happen in your short film. Together but like as separate entities. because I always thought. What if Dennis or Leigh went up some stairs or something and just stayed there lol Christine would probably never catch them. But Arnie could.. it would further the dynamic of Christine’s grasp on Arnie. A man’s love for his car. “Oh man, there is nothing finer than being behind the wheel of your own car! Except *maybe* for ...”
This was FANTASTIC! Seriously amazing. I usually don't like anything like this without the Fury but this was so good it didn't matter. It felt like a continuation in the GTA universe. Bravo.
eres increible, me encanto tu trabajo y sobre todo la trilogia soy un gran fan de esta novela y lo la has recreado de una forma espectacular muchas gracias
This is actually MASTER-CLASS material right here. I love it! You did a great job. With the the aid of my imagination, to fill in the blanks, this actually feels like a real movie and a real modern sequel to Christine.
Thanks to the RU-vid suggestions for making me discover this amazing video ! It's great to have recreated Christine and be inspired by her story ! Frankly, this video is one of the best I've seen !
the ending now connectes to the 2nd part of christine which they filmed in way back in 2016 i loved the short moive i have been following them since a long time we want more @OrangeRain WE LOVED IT Y IS THIS SO UNDERATED IT SHOULD BE TRENDING
2 years late.. But Wow this is really amazingly well done. VERY Nice job guys! R* should just add this to the in game TVs to watch. Would love to see a story like this based on the Cerberus also. REALLY Loved the both of them during the Halloween event
I watched your first one in 2014. I didn’t put 2 and 2 together that this was a remake til the end. But this is incredible! With the original “theme” from the movie, with some of the scenes, audio, and story lines as well as a twist in story line, music, and just the overall video was amazing. Kind of a cliff hanger at the end, just like the real movie. Going to watch 2 and 3 now!
Holy shit, that ending caught me off guard. At first I thought "Is he going to end it all where it started" ?? and then you showed me that no, you just told the story before the story. Absolutely incredible man! Keep them up!!
Well done dude! Personally I think Christine could look better without the side exhaust, and maybe different rims, but that’s not the point. This is ridiculously well done, and I can’t quite put into words how great this is.
I will always love the original, it's one of my favorite movies of all time and I was happy to see you paid homage to the first one and added your twists to the story and brought modern elements to me and I loved it! I have always said I wanted a sequel to the original one for a long time! Impressive work man!
I know the rockstar editor like the back of my hand. Which means i know how much of a bitch it is to use. You honestly nailed this shit bro. You had a subscriber at the show me scene.
This probably took a lot of editing and takes, and mounts of time to this. And it’s impressing for people like you to have enough to do these types of videos and post them on RU-vid. It’s amazing most definitely would subscribe to see more stuff like this.
@@OrangeRain11 amazing. Very well done work. Im subscribing i hope u keep making content like this. Id love to know what LSC options u used for the tornado
Hi there, I absolutely love this remake. The 2014 original was great, but this remake blows it out of the water! I really love the addition of a few other antagonists compared to just one from the original, and they all really had a chance to shine with the new scenes you gave them. The tie-in to Christine 2 at the end was a nice touch too. I have a few questions I have about the end though. For one, the remaining antagonist gets shot in the leg during the parking garage shoot-out, and he doesn't seem affected by it? Also, when Christine lured him in, surely he could have just resisted and tried to run away, or just try shooting the owner again? Finally, I might be totally wrong about this, but here's my interpretation of the ending. After literally roasting the last guy to death, Christine is faced with the choice of restoring herself to continue life with her owner, or look for new adventures. She decides on the latter, and this is probably wishful thinking on my part, she also sees a lot of good in the owner and decides to let him go so he can be happy and have a good life. While Christine will live on, her owners do not, so she decides to let him enjoy the rest of his days, however long that may be. She probably also felt that there wasn't a whole lot she could do for him, so she didn't see her relationship with the owner being an exciting one for long. Is that what you intended? TL;DR: Thanks for the great film, it was a lot of fun to watch!
Thank you for this comment ! First of all, for the last antagonist who gets shot in the leg, you can see him limping at 47:57, and that's why he doesn't run away on foot and decides to get into Christine. Secondly, to be honest, when we started making Christine 2, we didn't expect the video to be so successful. At the time we just wanted a new protagonist and a new story to tell. But I always considered that Christine never turned her back on the first owner, she loves him but differently. She and the second protagonist (Oliver Keith), had an instant crush on each other. An unexpectedly short and passionate relationship that you can have only once in your life. A bit like Jack and Rose in Titanic if you know what I mean. :p Then in Christine 3, she returns to her first love.
I loved this movie too, it gave me the same emotions as a normal movie at the cinema would. I was left with no words seeing how well tought and how well created this short movie was, I had chills just where they were expecting viewers to have them. Thanks for this little masterpiece.
This is the most beautiful sequel I’ve ever seen to the original movie! I’ve been a Certified Master Mechanic over half of my life and a car enthusiast since a child. I’ve built, rebuilt, diagnosed and repaired new, used and classic vehicles. I’ve been an expert car enthusiast since I was a small child so it’s only natural that I’m a sucker for car movies. This was beautifully done and hope to see more from you! I think the original Gone in 60 Seconds or Vanishing Point would be an excellent addition to your movie creation collection! If you should ever require specific information regarding any vehicles for your work, feel free to ask!
Extremely impressed. Im am a 45 year old man who grew up on Christine, & as an avid car guy/Wheelman, the car, Dual, the Wraith, etc are all great but Christine is the holy grail. At 1st i thought oh boy whats this, because so many would butcher this. But i actually like what you did. Bringing things from original but adding your own twists. Im shocked tho that nobody has given you an issue with this. I hope not soo it doesn't get removed. Now for second one And for the "ok show me" yeah i wouldn't be the 1st person to do this!
WOW!! Very impressed with video. Christine is one of my all time favorite horror films & you guys nailed it perfectly with this! Story, chases, deaths, and music were all awesome. Stephen King & John Carpenter would be incredibly impressed.
Hoo boy! I've been on a Christine hyper-fixation today and this was really well done! The thing that, in my opinion, really helps this series work is that it doesn't pretend to be set somewhere other than GTAV. Most Horror/Slasher GTAV machinimas I've seen try their best to make the GTAV world seem normal. But Los Santos ain't normal. It's a downright crazy partytown with a sprinkle of heavy crime. And this fan series embraces that, which makes Christine's addition to it feel more special. The new location and more recent time period brought back the thrilling dread of not knowing where the killer car was or what she might do next~
I love your editing especially the transition at 23:33 and the part where christine repairs herself you are doing great at what you do keep it up. 🖤💚🖤💚🖤
