This looks wonderful and is absolutely delicious. The same ingredients that my grandma Emma used. I also make my own crust, but like the idea, as you mentioned, that you have the option of ready made. I also pre cook my sweet potatoes with seasoning and butter in water and add a cornstarch slurry (I like more juice), then assemble as you did. Thank you for sharing. P.s. my friend's mother used to make the dough and milk dessert, she called it a butter roll.
Hi, Ms. Vickie. It's Mark again. Listen, that new video of you make sweet potatoes, I enjoyed the video. I bet if I tell my friends who are girls and boys, or my sister, I bet they would learn how to make it too.
Wow, that sweet potato cobbler looks delicious 😋 😍. I LOVE sweet potatoes pie 🥧 😋 so I'm looking forward to making this recipe. Thanks again for allowing me to learn about your sweet potato cobbler it was very quick and easy to make 😋
Grandma Vickie, I want you to know you are wrong that😋😋😋 lol, that looks so delicious, I'm going to make this for the holidays, I grew up eating this, but I never knew about the milk 🥛, that you can add to it. Thanks for the recipe, have a blessed day
Looked delicious right up until you poured the canned milk all over that nice brown crust. The milk destroys the firm "crustiness" of the crust, and makes a soggy, milky, wet mess of it all. I love a well-done, nicely browned crust for all of my cobblers and the juice that it makes automatically while cooking is enough liquid for my taste. So the canned milk thing wouldn't work for me. But the rest of your recipe looks wonderful. I love Sweet Potato Cobbler and always have since childhood.
