I wish they were readily available in my place. Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He's 59 & has many mental health issues plus probably CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. I remember back in 1999 this teenager told me they price Oxy by the milligrams so a Oxy 30mg was $30. bucks. One teen told me (when she was totally addicted) that they used to knock on doors and she would tell the concerned homeowners that they're car broke down and could they use they're home phone to call they're dads. Then she asked if she could use they're bathroom, once in there she would riffle threw there medicine cabinet looking for anything that would get rid of the horrifyingly stomach pains and crippling body aches that come from heroine,Oxy, perks withdrawals. The thing that got me was that most of them wanted to quit the drugs but wouldn't cuz they feared so much of the crazy withdrawals...

When I was younger, I admired CNN'S Isha Sesay, KTN's (back then) Cynthia Nyamai I wanted to be just like them. But then I took elective journalism courses with my Graphic Design degree, and I begun to hate and disdain the Media, because I could see they were not doing what they are supposed to do. I differ on this. In Australia, generics often aren't that much cheaper; but whereas a chemist used to ask which you'd prefer when filling your prescription, now they just go ahead and give you a generic or their own brand (which they make more money on). I have to jump in there real quick to make sure I get the name brand; it matters for some things - Voltaren for instance has a special coating which stops it breaking down in the stomach and causing irritation. I've had no issues in 15 years of using that product at full 50mg strength, and I'm not gonna change now just to save a few dollars.

If there is anybody that has went to see a doctor many times,you’ll notice that the pharmaceutical company will get someone to deliver medical samples/prescriptions and also bring food to the doctor as some kind of PERK. The doctors are the middleman for sure alright because when doctors prescribe something they’ll have more side effects doing more harm than good that right there is already a red flag.

See, this is why I'm so glad I'm born in India. Government ensures that no matter how high the demand, you can never sell drugs at a price above decided, especially for essential drugs. So paracetamol is at around 10 rupees ($0.15) for a strip of 10 tablets. In fact, many drugs are available for free in government hospitals.

For some reason, Opioid usage haven't exploded in India. Lets hope it stays this way. But Indians are increasingly getting affected by mental stress issues due to overworking, inflation etc.. Cancer is also increasing in India more than rest of the world. India needs to focus on these rather than Opioids
