In this Video I'm setting up our new Big Agnes Tent for the first time. Are you looking to get an ultra light Backpacking tent? This is the "Copper Spur HV UL2" it is a two person backpacking tent that is super light and pretty compact with some great features. I'm giving my first impressions of the tent and showing how long it takes to set up having never seen it before.
I can't wait for us to try it out in the wild and I hope to do a follow up on how it performs.

Can you fit some sleeping pads in there and how they fit? I guess it depends on the pads you own!

you can certainly fit a couple sleeping pads in this tent... but as you point out it depends on the ones you own.

Do you think it's worth the money? and is the floor durable for a dog?

I think it is a little pricey, but when you get into the tents that are sub 3.5 lbs. they start to get up in price. regarding the durability for dogs, I can't say as I haven't officially used the tent yet and the larger fact that i don't have a dog 😁. I will do some stress tests and post an update.

@@mcqsviews75 I ended up buying it and am pretty impressed. The material seems a little sketchy though and seems like it would rip easily.

@@grantgray1759Big Agnes used to sell a tent floor covering to protect it against dogs’ toenails. I’m not sure if they still offer it, but you could always use a piece of Tyvek inside the tent to protect the floor material. I own a Big Agnes Copper Spur HVUL 2P (the same tent in this video), and a Nemo Dagger OSMO 2P.

@@christianb8228This is the exact tent I have. I actually found it at REI in their used gear section in Boise. It was brand new, but had been returned with a large tear in the tent mesh, but I bought it anyway for $150. I contacted Big Agnes and sent it to them for repair. They charged me about $20 for the repair, and $17 to ship it back to me. I absolutely LOVE my Copper Spur tent. ⛺️
