In Episode #76, we continue to explore the Abacos Islands in the Bahamas. We leave Donny's Marina at Green Turtle Cay and head over "the bar" into the Atlantic deeper water with much higher swell and wave action. We stop at Orchid Bay Marina on Great Guana Cay for a few nights.

Thanks Ruth! With any boat there is an ongoing list of maintenance and/or projects which need to be prioritized. The anchor locker door was not urgent but we were glad to finally deal with it. The beach by Nipper’s really is amazing! Thanks for watching😎

Some nice calm music for a not so nice sea. Don"t think I could have made that trip vertically. Looks like you might have found a good calm anchorage to stay a few days. Hope so. Enjoy yourselves and keep us posted.

The trip around Whale Cay was only about 30 minutes so it was manageable! No issue with lying down as long as the captain has the boat under control. Lots more to show you in the Abacos, so stay tuned!😎

New posting day is always a great day ! “Uncle” Malcolm was using his business voice in the Pass/ outside crossing. I certainly understand! I have wondered for a little while , are you all on “schedule “ to “cross your our wake” and return to your home port ? Hope all is well 😎

Glad you enjoyed this episode Dan! It is dangerous to have a specific schedule when boating. One must be flexible to water conditions and weather. However, having a rough schedule is ok and we plan to cross our wake sometime in July.😎

Good question! I wondered that myself and learned that Cay, Key and Quay are pronounced the same. Cay and Key are a small island or reef whereas quay is built by humans. In the Bahamas, they use "Cay" and it can be pronounced "key" or "cay", but most people pronounce it as "key".😎
