This day in the Smokies, I was blessed with unobstructed sunshine... with a healthy dose of WINDS! This day was so beautiful, though, I truly felt like I could have recorded every second and taken pictures of everything! Within the first hour, I made it Charlie's Bunion where I climbed the rocks and shouted to my mom on her couch, "Mom, I'm fine!" I then continued hiking, enjoying every blistery step of the way. While eating my lunch, I met a gal named Trail Budah (a super awesome chick!), and shortly after, Swampy makes another appearance! Later, when I made it to the shelter, I enjoyed conversation with Swampy, Sharky, and Big Spoon as we lounged on the grass in the last of the days sunshine. Today was my favorite day in the Great Smokey Mountains. 🥰
