SCOTT WITH DALLAS PAINT CORRECTION REVIEWS SUPERIOR PRODUCTS RAGE WHEEL CLEANER USED WITH MAROLEX INDUSTRY ERGO 2000. GREAT FOR WHEELS & REMOVING TRAFFIC FILM AND BUGS FROM CAR PAINT dpcdetailing.com/
Scooootttt! You're back! I know youve been working hard on your business, just wanted to say great to see you doing what you do best. I love Rage, I use just li ky e you have done in yoyr video, it's also great for engine detailing and door jams ( for the jams spray Superior Rage) into the jam, let dwell, then rinse carefully with your pressure washer.
Thank you Scott for all the knowledgeable information, I have use lots of suggestions on products you've suggested, I am an avid auto enthusiast and detail my car weekly, I also happen to work for O'Reilly's, I would love to hear other suggestions on superior products, or products you can get from O'Reilly's, again appreciate all the free knowledge and product information!
Scott, thank you for all of your videos and especially knowledge sharing. I’m used to using wheel cleaners that turn this nasty color to let us know we got stuff off the tires. Is this a generally one application only or are multiple coats and scrubs needed for a daily driver? And I use sealants on my paint and wheels. Will these remove all that and need to reapply? How bad is it if it dries on the wheels? Thanks!
Hey Scott. Have you tried the wheel cleaner in the foam sprayer to see how that works. Would definitely keep so much from running off. It is cheap though. Thanks
This is equivalent to drain cleaner! Yes, it is not acidic, but it has a ph of 14 (drain cleaner). Check the safety data sheet on superior products website
Scott, you mention in the video that the Ph level is 7 but according to Superior Products it is actually 12 and 8.5 when diluted 4:1 (20%). Did they change the formula?
Scott; Thank you very much! Product is awesome. Just got one gallon yesterday from my local O’Reiily. WOW!! Forget the rest. This stuff is the best!! Did a real quick 4 wheel , tire, and liners. Came out excellent
Hey Scott, love your content. Have you ever tested Superior Products Non-Acid Universal Concentrate (C82-1). It seems to be marketed as a wheel cleaner, but if it brightens as well as Rage on wheels I would probably rather buy it if it's more versatile...
Made the wheel pop after the 1st application? Maybe we needed to see this in person, but from the video, there appeared to be no detectable change in the condition of that wheel.
Would you recommend I use RAGE or SUPER CLEAN to pretreat car in order to remove traffic film before I use Optinum Rinseless wash?? Thanks!! It appears RAGE is better since I can clean tires and bugs too!!
We use it at 10:1 I spoke with Superior and asked them if it was still effective at that ratio and they said definitely. Well that's how we now mix it and it works.
Hi Scott can I please ask by using acidic wheel cleaner, will also remove any wax or sealant on my powder coated wheels? Or do you recommend another product so it doesn't? Many thanks
Great video. I'm new at this and I noticed how expensive all this stuff is. I'm just trying to touch up my 2001 Toyota 4Runner from when I ran into a ditch during a bad rainstorm. I had to replace the front bumper and Valance panel. I said "hey why not do a headlight retrofit"? and off I was lol. I'm going to be 75 soon and I love doing stuff like this. Does Rage take of wax so you can use it as a wax remover and degreaser before painting or priming? Also I have 3 bad spots on the fender that I fixed by hammering and stuff like that. Put the bondo on and glaze putty like I see you guys do. Should I just paint those 3 areas or paint the whole fender? I'm thinking the whole fender. I'm using rattle cans lol. Because it's a 2001 I think the newly fixed and painted areas would stand out too much. Also Dupli-Color gave me three numbers for the black paint lol. Thanks and God bless. I remember taking old Chevy Impala engines apart in my friends garage on a Friday night. That was our fun.
hey Scott...how would you compare this to Extra Tough for all the same applications you mention here? would you say they are basically the same? or is one better? No O'Reilly around me; and I did have to order the ET after seeing you and Luke use it a couple months ago. So many new products coming out...I want to keep it down to a select few that serve multiple purposes (and not overthink the moment...or overuse the wallet!) thanks Scott btw Cant wait to get marolex I ordered from ya
@@Elniniss Ahhhh. Got it. As a school teacher, I should've known to google what that meant first because half my time is spent googling what the hell these kids are talking about. LOL!!
Not sure if you guys have it in the states but in the UK there’s a company called bilt hamber that have a medium sized range of detailing products, I’d love to see your honest review on their autowash (car soap), auto-foam (snow foam) and surfex hd (water based degreaser). Phenomenal products at a really low price. Massive cleaning power, great dilution rates with anti corrosion properties 👍 Love your videos man keep them coming
Great....so now the purple power degreaser ( diluted) is not AS good for tires and rims...i get it,your always testing new products... while i,m at it could you test/ compare the iron remover / soap....escapes me the brand...Adams? To a actual iron remover spray ? Thanx much.
Hey Scott! Great video, could you help me remember what those little pump spray cans are called that you were using to spray the wheel cleaner with? Much love! Your towels rock!
Ive been using Rage for about a month and like it... using it for tires and on the paint around the tires.. im always looking to do a less abrasive contact wash.. this product seems to do the trick... im glad you reviewed it well and didn't bring up something bad i might've missed..
I’m high watching this but did he just say, 😂😂 Somebody would see me at the store and say hey Scott why is your truck so dirty 😂😂😂 Scott crazy as a mtf 🤣🤣
Just placed my order it’ll be in at 5pm with just enough time to get in a wash before sundown. Will report back with my results. Thank you for the recommendation Scott.
Ive tried dirt buster car soap..its good.. and there concentrated spray wax is an excellent drying aid ... i bought there apc as well but have yet to try it . I would like to see a review on thier tire shine products
Yeah I've got the cover all can and it does sling but I dont try and wipe it down.mabey that would of helped.i think I would rather just have a water based dressing for the tires.does the dirt buster foam decent in a foam cannon???
Would you say this is similar to Ardex Non acid wheel cleaner? Only asking cause that distinct brown color is very similar and it seems to work just as well.
