This is by far the easiest game of all of them. You are guarenteed victory. It's pure logic. This is where paying attention in mathclasses pays off. :D
Technically she guessed, 2 , 3 ,4 and 5. She was supposed to say 872, 873, 874, 875 but we knew what she meant, but if they were playing by the rules, she really didn't win. Lol I'm just being a stickler.

THey very rarely have prices ending in zero, let alone double zero in this game. In the mid 80s, I remember a contestant having only one second left to win the second prize and blurted out $999 on their first guess and won the game, saying they'd seen said prize on the show before.
I watched a PIR earlier w/this guy on his 19th bday & its titled Luckiest Player Ever or sumthin like that, and it is freakin crazy how the kid won. I don't wanna give it away but u gotta look it up, I couldn't believe how lucky he was...
A trick that somebody seems to know for a number guessing game like this. Lets say that the price is $732. 1000 (half of $2000 if it ever gets this high) Lower 500 Higher 750 Lower 625 Higher 687 higher 718 higher 733 Lower 725 Higher 729 Higher 731 Higher 732 Ding ding ding ding ding etc. I understand that pressure can mess this up badly, but its still a good trick! Go by half every time. You pretty much have a maximum of 11 numbers to go by like this! There might be a more efficient way though, i don't know. Found the trick by myself while playing some game on "Petit Computer" on my 3DS. ---------------------------------------------- An easier trick: 1000 Lower 500 Higher 700 higher 800 Lower 750 Lower 720 Higher 740 Lower 730 Higher 735 Lower 732 Ding! Ding! etc. This one can vary between 8 to 12 guesses, but way easier than the previous. I think ive seen people do that, but i keep missing the show. So i dont know if this last trick is often used.
I've often hated that too. I've wished that the victim who had it done several times would hit an exact number and hit it in the other player's face; and ultimately win the showcase.

Perhaps so that people check the items in real stores and see their actual price is lower than the price on the show which encourages them to buy the items thinking they got cheaper...
no she is very lucky that the second prize had such a round number, i dont recall a price in this game with 00 at the end. anything other then that she would not won. btw my first guess was 600! :-p
