They fought them and were able to get them to stop production and a judge gave them just 2 days to finish songs, mix, and master theirs. so 2 versions exist. also the story of this legend’s favorite album track and how it devastated her to write it. In 1975 the band Heart blasted onto the scene with Dreamboat Annie including the classic rock standards Crazy on you and Magic Man. The songs have become a part of the Classic rock lineage, and the album went to the top 10 in the US as well as sold over a million copies. The band had finally made it.
From that point sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson would rip through the late 70s with amazing success on every subsequent album in the 70s including Magazine, Little Queen, and Dog and Butterfly all going multiplatinum. The band would have their share of adversity though including heartbreak, a lawsuit with their label Mushroom records, and a change in direction and faltering sales in the early 80s.
