I'm not cake baker, and this was the first time I've made galaktoboureko. It was delicious, and not too challenging...just like you said. Thank you and rest in peace. Your legacy endures.

😮omg this is my most favorite dessert in the whole world!!!

I once made Galaktoboureko ,but didn't find the semolina,so I used "Cream of Wheat"-the Greek lady that works at the grocery store recommended.It did work very well.Next time I'll use semolina,as I have it in my pantry now.Thank you so much for the recipe , it's my favorite dessert.

My absolute favorite besides baklava.... Greek Lemon Chicken with roasted potatos is a childhood favorite. Mom was a waitress at Tge Princetonian Diner in Jersey for years. The Best cooks Ever are Greeks....

Ken, you’re so personable I love it! I eat Greek food several times a week. Unfortunately I’m not much of a cook so I have to rely on my favorite Greek restaurant when I’m craving Greek food (which is a lot!)

Use a metal spoon so you hear metal on metal. Wooden spoons tend to leave a scree film on bottom of custards burning...
