How to make Homemade Greek yoghurt for babies (and toddlers) with any sweetener and it’s super easy to make takes two ingredients and it’s cheaper & tastier than what you buy in the stores
How to make thick yoghurt/curd
Ingredients
-500Ltr milk Boiled
-1 tsp culture/Starter (a small portion of curd/yogurt that is used to make a larger quantity of curd used to convert milk into curd/yogurt )
Method
Bring milk to a boil on a low to medium flame, When the milk comes to a boil, then reduce the flame switch off the flame
Remove from the stove and allow to cool down to lukewarm temperature, simply dip your finger to test the temperature. Your finger should feel warm and not hot. Hot temperatures kill the cultures so we don’t want the milk to be hot.
Add the culture 1 tsp/of the curd starter spread inside the tiffin add in the warm milk
Whisk/ Mix very well until the curd has blended well with the milk.
Cover with a lid and keep directly under the sun or in a warm place (will take 5 hours to set) or until set for 6 to 10 hours depending on the weather.
The time that the milk takes to convert into curd depends on the temperature. In a warm, hot and humid climate, the time taken for the curd to set will be 4 to 7 hours. Whereas in a cool or cold climate, the time taken can be 8 to 12 hours
Refrigerate, After refrigeration curd becomes more thicker
Lets Make favored GREEK YOGURT
Making small portions
-1 1/2 cup prepared thick yogurt
-1/2 cup sweet ripe mango puree (to make mango flavor)
& for blueberry flavor add handful to make blueberry flavor
Method
Hang the dahi in a muslin cloth for a couple of hours till the water has drained out and you have thick yogurt. When you are ready to make the yogurt, squeeze out any excess liquid, even a drop.

2)Greek Yogurt with Blueberry 🫐 flavor
When everything is ready, in a blender, add all the ingredients.
In a blender (add 1 tsp sugar optional if you want extra sweet) hung yogurt, cut blueberries Give it a blend untill the berries pieces have completely pureed with the yogurt. Then take it all out in a bowl refrigerator for 3 hours get thick & firm and serve, It tastes better if refrigerated.
What is Greek Yogurt?
Greek-style yogurt is typically thicker than regular yogurt. To get that texture, liquid (the whey) is removed by straining it out using a fine-mesh sieve and cheesecloth. The less liquid there is, the thicker the yogurt becomes. It will take a minimum of 4 hours or (depending on the quantity of the milk) to strain enough whey out of the yogurt to get a thicker texture, but you can strain it for up to 24 hours if you like your yogurt very thick.
