I think you are operating under a faulty premise about the movies. In the first movie everything the were doing, until the end, was on US soil (which is why they needed the FBI to sign off on it) to insert DelToro's character so he can do his thing. After he was in Mexico, they only provided some logistical and intel support. I don't think anyone, except DelToro who is not an official US agent anyway, killed anyone in Mexico. The tunnel is a grey area. In the second movie, they were wholly operating in Mexico without permission from the Mexican government. Mexico is a US ally and I'm pretty sure it would cause an international incident if the US army was operating weapons free in Mexico without permission. That is why they used mercs and private security gear. They could not use official US assets. I could be wrong, but that is how I see it.
@wadewilson8011

@wadewilson8011

@@betsan5832 so what? What's your point? Permission had nothing to do with who was killed at the boarder. Read my reply again and pay attention. I have a couple of suggestions for movies you might find interesting to review: - Close (2019) with Noomi Rapace - I thought this was an interesting movie from the perspective of a female close protection specialist. Some of the scenarios seemed quite believable, considering a physically smaller / weaker woman acting as protection, but would be interested in your opinion. - Wrath Of Man (2021) with Jason Statham - from the perspective of a criminal out for revenge for the death of his son. I would be interested in your view on the big shootout scene later in the movie. Anyway, keep up the good work!

I will have to say, I thought Buck was going to rip apart the fact that the humvee’s were not up armored. They were normal. When I saw the movie. I laughed how the 240’s were being stopped by 1/4” glass.

I’ve been a patron of the bar in the first Sicario..a little dive called The Silver Pony in Phoenix , renamed I think Pink Pony in the movie… it’s amazing how much a few angle changes makes you really have to look before you recognize the place you haunt 2-4x a week.. 😝

There's an interview with the writer of these two movies and even though it's called Sicario 2 it's actually a stand alone movie. The writer wrote two scripts for the first movie and the studio bought both. Nothing in the first movie matters in the second.

GI Issued Berettas are not pieces of shit. They have had hundreds of thousands of rounds ran through them . You know as well as I do,what we were issued had not been kept up to standard as far as cleaning and or changing out parts. Those Berettas were rode hard and put up wet. They still function pretty decent considering the insane amount of wear and tear that was on them.
@taylorbennion3706
@taylorbennion3706 Год назад
Yeah I've got a Beretta and it's an excellent pistol but it's reputation is kinda ruined by soldiers because they were issued old worn out pistols and then go about preaching how shit they are, I've got a lot of respect for military personnel but more often than not they are not nearly as educated on arms as they think they are and as a result they give some things a bad name and others are put on a pedestal like all the vets I've met who claim AKs are some indestructible piece of slav magic and so forth.

@punisher3167 Год назад
@@taylorbennion3706 I agree 100%. I’m a Veteran of Eight Years,was in the ARMY MOS 12B / SAPPER. We trained with the platform and most were wore out but still functioned. As well, you would be surprised how much the Soldiers did not know and understand about firearm’s in general. That even goes for Police in the Civilian world. They only will trash something because they either heard a couple others say something and or do not know how to properly handle and operate the firearms in hand.

Learnt a lot from this video! Although I think they're missing the point that this isn't a direct sequel. It's more of an alternate timeline to the first film. So Brolin & his team aren't having all their resources taken away from them. Instead they are being brought down a different path to the first movie, with less direct government oversight

Yeah, the chopper interdiction made no sense. I remember seeing a police helicopter fly very low and slow in front of my house one time. I could see the pilot's face pretty well and I remember thinking how easy it would be to light him up with a rifle. He was right above the power lines and 75 yards away. A truck full of gangsters would shoot you out of the sky in a heartbeat. It seems like a better solution would be to get the sun to your back and get high up so they'd have to look into the sun and aim at a high angle to shoot you.

How long dose it take for your nods to re adjust after they use the cutting wheel? Because the only thing I have seen under nods that makes that kinda light is a flash bang, and the really shitty hammydown nods we had readjusted within like .5 sec. I just wonder if Because it's a longer amount of light dose it take longer to readjust?
