Great video as always my friend, I have the Greencult razor it's a great razor reasonable priced too, shipping was a problem to me in the UK so I had a friend from Europe buy it & when he came over he bought it to me 🙂 The handle you matched it up with is a perfect match. Used my Rex Envoy XL with a Feather blade and got a BBS shave with just a two pass. HC&C unscented soap with Patchouli oil, PAA alum and Star Jelly, and PAA Awesome Sauce. It made for a great start to the day.

My greencult razor should be arriving this week. It's taken about 30 days to get to Florida from Austria. Not too bad all things considered. I'm excited to give it a spin. Great shave CDB. Thanks for sharing.

Nice shave Chris! I wonder if they made the handle long for head/body shavers 🤔 SOTD: HC&C Southern Comfort soap and splash that I made, Schick J-1 injector, PAA Peregrino brush, and some Nivea Sensitive Soothing balm. Have a good one! Steve

I agree that Pedro fiasco base is super nice! I love mine in the marzipan. Inspired by your unboxing from yesterday, this morning I went with denton majik KRS and whipped up some amazing amazing lather for a super shave with my simpsons synthetic and a razorock lupo! Just finished with A&E the undersea splash to top it all off.

Both the razor and the soap seem to be great values (especially if you didn't have to pay for the extra shipping on the greencult). Might have to check out the pomegranate scent one day. Mostly great shave today: A&E Spartacus with a bit of HC&C bad**s scent oil, Blackland Era, and Stirling Executive Man splash. I ended up nicking the corner of my lip when my alarm went off on my phone (an emergency storm warning for the other side of the state, go figure). Tiny little blood spot I barely noticed, but I can't call it a perfect shave now, oh well.

nice handle head combination there brother 👍 and there is the rub excellent soap a great lather but an amazing price . i am as guilty as the next guy and do fall into the ooooo nice soap but $5 or 6$ an oz but for sure some of the cheaper options out there are excellent valve and dam fine soaps and to be fair i personally can’t tell to much difference in the shave and my post shave routine deals with aftercare . but now and again it is nice to use a luxury item 👌

Wow, third video with the Greencult. Seems to be a keeper. I also tried different shorter handles and a 93,5mm x 13mm stainless steel handle was balancewise (weight of the head: 40g) just perfect for me. The Mühle Rocca R94 I bought after the Greencult was in comparison a disappointment. The Rocca was less efficient and not as smooth as the Greencult and the industrial mashined design oft the Greencult grew on me more and more.

Morning Chris. Nice demo with the Green Kult razor. There are several nice razors made in the EU. I was wondering if you have or tried a Focus Tritok Concave razor. It is said to be very aggressive razor. Made in Italy for $71.00. Stay well and God bless.

I tried one of those razors but it was the mild one. I didn't care for it for that reason but I've never tried the more efficient one.

Nice! I was laughing about the handle, because I'm working on a long one while I'm watching your video! I'd probably go with a RazorRock handle, because they've got some great styles and it would give me a chance to pick up some other things. I definitely want to try Pedro Fiasco, Pete's a great guy and he makes great stuff. I think this is nice line he has going and when you put limitations on him, he seems to excel even more. I intentionally work that way so I keep in a reasonable price range and it often leads to innovative ideas. I'm seeing a bunch of people using Pedro Fiasco, so I'm hoping it's going as well as I'm perceiving it to be for him.

Hi Chris, Peter C. over at A&E is a master artisan and I find all of his soaps to be great. I have not yet tried this budget-friendly soap (but it looks quite good). I have used HC&C’s White Star shave soap, which is also a budget line soap. I’m a huge fan of both HC&C and A&E soaps. I’m curious, since you have used both, how does Pedro Fiasco compare to White Star. It seems like they have different ingredients, and are both made by top artisan soap “Jedi Masters,” which is great because the community can really use more high-quality, low-cost soap options (and a big shout out to Stirling Soaps for being one of the first in the high-quality, low-cost arena). Perhaps you should consider doing a budget-friendly soap week? Glad to see that your wrist seems to be getting better, slowly but surely you are getting off the “injured list” and may be an NBA draft choice again by May!

My evaluation of the products is generally based on the outcome of the shave. In both cases it's very nice. Pedro might be slightly easier to get creamy but both are more than adequate in terms of achieving a great shave.

I have had trouble shaving with the Green Cult razor. Any advice? Feels rough across grain and against grain, not smooth. It feel like it is catching and scraping. Tried a Wilkinson Sword Classic blade and will try a Nacet next. Tried riding the cap but no success making it smoother. I know the blade loaded fine and nothing looks off with alignment. Saw one reviewer said steep angle (more on bar) worked for him. Don't think I got a flawed razor as everything looks ok but i wonder.

I was going to suggest switching blades for sure. Mine has been great so far. You may want to look at it very closely to make sure everything is lined up properly and there are no rough spots anywhere.

I measure performance based on the outcome of the shaves and 99% of my outcomes are exceptional. Any reputable soap is going to be more than adequate in the hands of a reasonably skilled shaver. That said, Stirling is one of my favorite soaps to use and I get a creamy lather quicker with it.

@@IAMCDB I found it. The reason I was missing the Bravo was because they do not list that handle on their Razor Handle page. It is on the Safty Razor page. You were correct on the name. I assume they do not carry that handle on the Razor Handle page is because they are sold out at the moment, but it was confusing.
