I dont know how you two found each other, but the love and respect you show is amazing. Im sad Greg doesnt ever catch a fish, but has much more experience in foraging and medicinal plants. You can really tell both are learning from each other.
Amos grew up fishing to survive, that’s why he’s so good at it. My Dad ran into some people when we were young, the guy said to my Dad, “you’re fishing for fun, we’re fishing to eat”, lol. Maybe they don’t like Greg’s casting, lol. Love you guys, stay safe.
My mother is from the Philippines, and she makes sure to gut the fish when I come home. That’s their dinner. She smacked me when I went to cut the belly open. She snapped it’s neck, and pulled all of its guts out through the gill. We call it a hobby, it was true dinner every day there… Ever since then, I bring the full fish home and let her gut it. It’s literally a pinky pull. Absolutely blows my mind. Her pinky is so much skinnier than mine hahaha
Greg brother. I appreciate all the effort you put forth in life! It gives me hope for myself to keep going! Never stop, both of you! Thank you for your channel!
The dynamic Duo ! Amos is such a lovely guy , I’m subscribing to his channel too ! These guys crack me up , I don’t think Greg realises how funny he actually is , genius !🤣👏🏼
I'm so enjoying this series, Greg, thankyou. And you and Amos have both been sick with that cold...and you're still snuffy - as is he - and your bodies are still trying to recoop. Take it easy...those berries are filled with Vit C as well as sugars. Thank you for bringing us along!
Great video Greg ! I been watching Amos` videos along with yours. He looks like a great companion to have along. Thank You for sharing your video, and bringing us along .
Once upon a time, a long time ago, some people built a village in that part of the island. You can still see what's left of it, slowly rotting back into the forest. The village didn't last very long as the cold wet winters made everything rot. Enjoying the adventure.
Don't give up on the fishin Greg, your time will come. Keep your head high and your line wet! You guys are a team and sometimes we need that partner more than others. If you were alone you'd just be spending more time on the water, this way you don't. Two poles in the water are better than one and there may come a time that you catch some and Amos doesn't. When your on the same team you don't keep score!
I love it that you are talking about the pests in camp, cleanliness and avoiding disease, this is a subject that is scarcely mentioned by most back woodsmen/survivalists. I have taken to keeping mouse and rat traps in my various packs as well as always having lye soap, bleach and alcohol (scent free hand sanitizer) and wash cloths.
Could you imagine having the wisdom and knowledge of the outdoors like Greg and Zach have and this new dude they brought out I know a little bit but I always strive to know more
Not at the end yet but, WOW, it's worth going back to get the fishing pole, worth getting wet, but most of all worth bringing the BUTTA BABY, That makes all the difference in the mouth and tummy! Am I right? Don't really need alot of salt w/fish from the ocean. I just enjoy watching all your videos Greg, and Amos as well. You may have gone very hungry without his ability to catch fish. No shame, you are a team out there, you always keep it real, and that's why I don't miss a program. Thank's for taking us on a trippy adventure without having to do anything for it. Some of us used to have this kind of fun, but no can do no-mo. Love how you share your knowledge of edible plants, mushrooms, & trees, ferns. It's all good. As always GBU.,SM.,NZ ✌❤😁
Knowing the whens and where's of certain plants, mushrooms and fungi can be difference between breathing and not breathing. Greg's well rounded set of experience's have prepared well for survival situations. Its a language, a lifestyle, and being able to adapt. Walk with nature, any other way is uphill.
I thought Greg would be more of a fisherman but watching him cast that line has given me some doubts. Not doubting his survival skills but starting to doubt my man’s fishing skills. 😝
I'm French living in PARIS and i'm a big fan of your vidéos !!! Keep up the good work body !!! And please teach us more trap on ground for little mouses but also build trap for crabs plz !! See yah mate
I'm so jealous because salmon is my absolute favorite! It's helped me to loose weight but it's so expensive now! Hopefully I'll be able to go somewhere to fish for it and bring it back to Texas. I want to load my freezer up. Salmon is so good for you.
Darn I’m mad at myself for missing the live stream but Greg/Amos’ no fret im viewing it right now 😊. Im watching both of you guys channels, thx so very much guys…. Fishing 🎣 rocks our worlds YEAAAAA’’’’
love watching these videos, i really think you can improve your casting skills if you dont use your whole hand holding the line, try using just one finger and keep your right hand where the reel connects to the rod, you will get alot more distance while casting and improve accuracy
Hay Tanks Greg,Fin and Amos 4 another great informative and entertaining video, with thee rain and challenging footing, hopefully Y’all stay upright”A”,take a chance,Fire Yes!
it woulbd be a miracle if he caught something with that cast ha ha. I hope someone teaches him how to cast farther than 30’ but i do enjoy watching this guy giv it a go. Keep on keeping Greg
