The amount of hate in this comment section is insane. The video is online for one hour and everything I read is full of hate. If you don't like them, why do you keep watching the videos? Just to put some hate out there? Now for real, their newer stuff doesn't even sound like zep anymore. Is used to sound a little like it, but really you can easily tell them apart now, if you can't, I suggest listening a little more closely to both Zeppelin and GVF. And even then they literally do no harm by sounding like this. Is sounding like Led zep a bad thing though? The singer gets a lot of stick for sounding like him, which, you forget to admire because sounding like Plant is a skill. It keeps the spirit and sound of their music alive for new generations to appreciate. Some douches might say ‘who’s this Led zep the comments refer to’ And gain another set of fans so that their music isn’t lost. You tell me other bands that don’t sound frightfully similar to an older band and I’ll sit and wait. Plus, plant actually loved these and rated them as an up and coming group.

Maybe it’s just me but they come across a bit douchey Saw them a couple months ago and the guitarist played a 10 minute solo where he just repeated the same licks over and over again. Overall was not very impressed, they are being pushed hard by the media and did not earn their way as other bands have.

There's a reason why Led Zeppelin were Led Zeppelin which is what GVF and their supporters do not understand. Anyone and any band can reach a very high profile if they have the goods...and enough money that's how corrupt the music "business" is. I know I've done enough research on the subject. Page was a session musician that pooled all his experience into forming Led Zeppelin and that's where his creative spark came from. He also wanted musicians that were good enough to share the attention equally on the songs they wrote and was "lucky" enough to find Plant and Bonham both of whom were unique enough in their style and just what Page wanted and ended up changing the game, JPJ was smart enough to volunteer for the job as bassist and keyboards and equally as talented and well versed in his craft. After Zeppelin he ends up being choirmaster for The World Renowned Vienna Boys Choir, not an easy feat, he also wrote his own opera bit of real genius there. They were doing what nobody else was doing at the time which absolutely worked in their favor. The result was a catalog of music that just hit you off the bat. Being a Led Zeppelin fan is like finding the love of your life...no one else can follow the act no matter how hard you try to look.

If the music was different at least I think they would sound alright. But the fact that they write classic rock sounding music along with the obvious Robert Plant like vocals it just sounds very unoriginal and bland. Develop a more modern sound musically and they wouldnt get shit on so much.

As for Zeppelin, my favorite band, they took from a lot of blues musicians, and others, and then made it into their own style. So Zeppelin, didn't come up with their own music, yes they wrote quite a bit of their own. At least GVF, wrote their own music. I like GVF, I don't understand why people are getting upset at them. Pay no attention to them then. I cannot stand country music, but I don't go around cutting it down. I am not much for Rap either.
