How funny it is to see these two people sharing many similarities, especially after all struggles they've been through :))) I love Teddy, please bring my happy Teddy back!!!!!
what do you mean lmao eli is a whole devoloped character who repeatedly had better choices than doctors and helped miranda with her research, they talked about yang pissing off the head nurse and how that screwed her over, and they had a nurse strike epsidoe dedicated to nurses... just to name a few examples....
@@angelicavences9357 what i mean is half the stuff you see the doctors doing on grey’s anatomy are actually the nurses job. so they’re not showing how useful and essential nurses truly are in the hospital. they do this so they can more scenes out of the doctors but a lot of isn’t even their job. and it’s not the doctors who are by the patients sides 24/7 like grey’s shows, it’s the nurses who take care of them and comfort them while the the doctors go off. i’m not saying it as a bad thing but i have multiple nurses in my life and they’ve all said this
While I love Grey's, the lack of showing how important nurses are is really important. They do a much better job of this in the show ER, where they show repeatedly though the years (though it falls off a little towards the end of the show) through out the years how fundamental nurses are. At least one of the main characters on the show was always a nurse, so you got a bunch of nurses scenes mixed in with all the doctor scenes. I'm not saying ER was perfect, but they did do a much better job of showcasing the importance of what nurses do.
My friend's dad is a surgeon and this is actually very true. A lot of Surgical Nurses have as much knowledge as surgeons because they've been with the hospital longer than most surgeons, assisted more surgeries and worked with different types of surgeons.
I just always loved their scenes. By far one of my favorite combos, along with Callie and Addison. Kinda happy I don't watch Grey's anymore, because what they turned Teddy into is just horrible.
Cristina should have just asked Meredith about the steps while prepping for this surgery. She is general surgeon and actually is the one to get intern Appies done
OK, have to ask - why were 2 cardio surgeons doing an operation that falls under general surgery? And serious kudos to the nurse, otherwise they would have to - what - call Bailey or Richard and say they were stuck? Or google it - oh boy, that would have been hilarious to watch, but probably not very realistic ;-)
I think this was when Teddy was reminding Yang about going back to basics, because I'm trying to recall if Yang got mad at her intern for not knowing some basic for surgery. This is a rough recall lol
@merderTV wondering if you can help! I want to use the Cristina and Teddy clips from S8E3 to give students why the basics and fundamentals are KEY. I need the clip you already have, but I need it to be put together with the following clips as well - so I have have the full montage for my students! Would be SO grateful if you help and English teacher out! I don't even know if this is possible to do, but if it is, you would be the hero of my English II team! 8:52-9:50 13:55-14:40 26:47-27:40 28:00 - 20:10 29:51-30:13
