Just ordered one. Was going back and forth between the REP 3000 2.0 and this but I went for this one. Got a nice little 10% for signing up for their email list too. Seems like a real winner.
@@alexgersa5323it’s very nice and sturdy but a bit bulky / big and not the easiest to quickly move around. If you have a large area it’s perfect. For a smaller gym I’d say get one a little smaller.
They’re both imported benches. Griffin goes a little further to add small details to make it their own but the manufacturing of the bench is the same between both.
@@AMRAP So you would choose Griffin FID over AB-3000? As more reviews I read says Griffin does not wobble at all and sturdy but REP benches like the AB-3000 wobble here and there
Sorry one more question - the material on the Griffin FID Pad looks like the “Grabber” Vinyl Cover for Thompson Fat Pad or is the “Grabber” feels similar?
What did you decide on? I'm just gonna flip a coin. I can't decide. REP has 4 color options. Griffin has usable features like knurl handle to move and rubber feet for better stability. As of March 2022, Both cost $319, with free shipping.
@@alfredomeza4181 I purchased the FID bench like the bench (sturdy) but the leg attachment was loose in the box just wrap with little bubble wrap not foam. The leg attachment paint as well the chrome on the back adjustment bar was scratch, with a nasty scratch and ding on the chrome bar that can’t be fix Griffin customer service response was to paint the leg attachment with rust oleum a 15 dollar refund to purchased the spray can don’t see myself purchasing other product from Griffin after the bad experience with poor customer service and warranty that can’t exchanged or replaced damaged parts even offering to send damaged parts back.
