In my opinion she’s correct to cook it this way. Lobster is best when lightly seasoned so that you can actually taste the sweetness of the lobster and not all the spices instead. Lobster is too expensive so when I eat it I want to taste lobster not Cajun seasoning. She also added, salt pepper, garlic and parsley and grilled lemon to drizzle on the side. But people are so obsessed with powdered seasoning that when you add them natural everyone asks “where is the seasoning?” smh.
To be a white woman trying to culturally appropriate a nitive dish of taplit lobster is absolutely insane, not to mention its highly disrespectful, meaning that this is disgusting that you fond this okay 👌
It’s time to sit down with her and have that talk. Good luck, man. Get it off your chest. You will feel better and it will not grow into resentment. See what she says about addressing her mediocrity and lack of effort. If she isn’t willing to change and treat you with the respect she proclaimed to abide to in her wedding vows, you know what needs to happen.
