Not only are the Ox tails looking dang good but hearing the kids laughing, talking and playing together is priceless! Definitely a brother cooking for family that enjoys being his family! The price of Ox tails are now at the highest price cuts of beef!!!
I am in NJ..They are so high in the grocery for 4 or 5 pieces of 20 and up..I never seen them that big..Please tell me where i can order them on line on ice.
@@chee5094 Man I’m asking the same question! If you run up on a place please hit me back up on this spot! They’re charging more for them than they’re charging for new york and T-bone 🥩 steaks 🥩🤣😄😆!
Those oxtails look great. Never thought about grilling, but I will now. Meat market for the oxtails will give you the bang for you buck! Thanks for this episode 👍. Well done
I think I would be in the hospital for blood pressure issues after enjoying this kinda meal. But this meat looks so good🤤 Thanks for making me hungry at 4 am in the morning 🤣😂
Great job on the cute of the Oxtail, the color the ingredients flavor, you love with ever bite.understanding having the heart to make great food that tastes great and everyone loves.
Good stuff! Talent is not limited to sports & music/ those that really are. Those that cook learn to do so to perfection, lets make up some sauces & spices!!!
Thank you for letting people know its ok to wash meat. I hate it when these youtube channels tell you not to wash meat...good job on them oxtails too ❤
Damn! oxtails my favorite and the way you cook it looks so delicious!!! Brother you got it goin on! in Hawaii when you cook food that looks as good as that and taste as good as it looks we say so good it Broke The Mouth! God Bless You And Your Family. 💯
I tried this recipe but I put them in the pressure cooker for 30 minutes before I grilled them. (1) To get rid of excess fat and (2) To get them tender so they fall off the bone!🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Those do look delicious. But may I ask, why don't you respond to people asking specific questions regarding cook time, apple juice, etc.? I'd love to try your recipe but cook time, temperature and things would help a bunch.
It really looks good! But that’s a lot of work.. u did gave me ideas, but their is a lot of ways to do this in less time, I must say I never thought of doing these on the grill bcuz of toughness, but I will probably try ur way but with shorter time
I'm gonna try me some smoked oxtail on the smoker! Those big ones look like a small filet mignon with a bone in the middle. That bone straight up adds f-l-a-v-o-r! Great video man!
I love this video my brother! This is one of my favorite meats to smoke. The love, care, and patience with your cooking had your family sucking those bones to get all of the savory flavor from those oxtails. 5 stars review from me!
My only thing is timing. I love to grill and my fam always waited for the next thing. First time fails non-facker... can't happen so now have test my time for the best and new surprises!
I did it last year and I'm telling you it was a huge hit with my family can't wait until they lift the ban because we are going to do it again ! Thanks for the recipe!😎👍
@@turndownforwatt8295 Oxtail’s takes a long time to cook on a regular stove. Using a pressure cooker takes 45 minutes. He’s not answering questions because it takes forever on a regular grill. I would precook it first then transfer to grill.
Oxtail are expensive here in south Carolina, your grilled them perfectly, how much charcoal did you used? did you have to add some during cooking? And what was the liquid did you put in the pouch? Apple juice? It had a reddish color though. Thank you for sharing!!😊
Cool. But the time on smoking and wrapped time would be cool to see. Also the taste test would have been good to see. Ive only smoked oxtails once. And I braised them for 3hrs. But after seeing your video I might have to try just wrapping them up.
NOPE! ❌ I once tried to grill oxtails, and it turned out to be a waste of money. The meat was definitely not tender and too hard to chew. I probably should’ve boiled them a bit before putting them on the grill, but I didn’t think of that at the time. 🤷🏽♀️
i agree - i need to know how long to cook the different phases and what was in your seasoning - that makes a big difference - the only ingredient mentioned was apple apple juice and ox tails - can we get a little more details for the non- cooks that want to be where you are or. lose to it???
Do you have any cook times. How long were they braised before lowering the temp? How long before wrapping, and how long did you cook them wrapped? Also, what was the temp when you lowered it? They looked great, but ox trails are extremely expensive in North Carolina. I'd just like to have a little more guidance so i can try this for my family
Got a few questions. First looks great. I see you didn't trim the fat. Was that on purpose? What was your Braising, smoke, and grill time? Was that regular apple juice you were pouring in the foil stage? Was that also the same in your spray bottle?
How long did you cook them in th grill before the foiling them? After you foiled how long did you cooked them? Did you use direct heat like regular bbq-ing or did you put coals on one side and the meat on the other.
Oxtails are so expensive now when I work as a meat cutter at a supermarket chain here in Michigan called Farmer Jack's years ago oxtails wasn't that expensive chicken breast was more expensive than oxtails chicken wings were more expensive not now. LOL 😂 those oxtails look good on the grill I have to try that recipe.
