@@gozinatorrorlandozimbana2716I would be inclined to say yes but, unfortunately, Porsche sells now more Macans, Taycans and Cayennes than actual sports cars..and those sports car are for the rich and famous only; toyota's drivers cars are almost affordable for everyone..almost, as performance cannot not cost anything.

@@gozinatorrorlandozimbana2716 I am inclined to agree, then again, Porsche is only catering the big money crowd as enthusiasts vehicles go...so, what Toyota is doing is something else, allowing for performance to get into the affordability zone.

The Altezza is an Easter Egg representing Akio Toyoda's first race car, for the 24 Hours of Nurburgring, he bought it used, because Toyota wouldn't allow him to race.

It's an Altezza because it's a reference to the used Toyota Altezza that Akio Toyoda bought himself to be raced in Nurburgring 24H and basically what started Gazoo Racing itself.

if it is, it looks like more of a car than the previous miata(mx5) competitor, which means more expensive; I do hope it is the MR2 and not the FT-SE concept. What I actually wish would be a celica coupe body on the GR yaris mk2 platform.
