Mycology is very trial and error, as this is just a baseline for how I myself do things that work for me, you could always find things and ways that will help you succeed. Biggest tip is to work with agar to avoid initial contamination within the grain spawn. Once grain spawn is fully colonized it is a little hard to contaminate as it’s a stronger organism at that point. Spawn that to a known coco coir that works and is pasteurized. After that let fully colonize before sending to fruiting conditions! Everyone has their own way with the same general principles😁
