I’ve seen a ton of comparison videos and conclusion is there’s no increase in productivity. As a matter of fact the transition of nutrients usually caused stress to the plant- which in return, stunted the plant.
Are you monitoring the ph levels? Also what about the EC or PPM of the water? Just curious. I’m growing peppers and tomatoes with maxi grow. I’m following the suggested mixing ratios on the package and going by EC readings. My tomatoes have been growing for 60 days and still they don’t look like yours. I don’t even have any blooms. Am I using too little nutrients? Looks like your using way more the the recommended dosage. Love your videos!
One more thing... after my long comment about the NPK numbers & what they mean... I wanted to say I have grown the heirloom & cherry tomatoes, but I am in love❤ with the Aero Garden MEGA TOMATOES❤. They are about the sz of 2 cherry tomatoes combined, maybe a tad bigger... NICE & TASTY TOMATOES! 🍅🍅 THAT'S A LOT OF WORK... THANK YOU AGAIN FOR ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO!! ❤
Im gonna say the stress the plant went through stopped the fruit growth, atleast the first major batch. Almost every time I have a plant get stress from lack of water, majority of the fruit become stunted, and will instead have moved onto ripening because the plant wasnt sure if it would get more water, rather than focusing on growing bigger fruit and more seeds
SIR, I recently learned something about the N-P-K Ratio on fertilizers... very imformative! I never understood what was the best fertilize & for what plants. Now I know. I use this as a guide! This has helped me tremendously!! And this also is for beginners that may not know what each is for. I will share: 1st number is for N = NITROGEN, 2nd number is for P= PHOSPHORUS, 3rd number K= POTASSIUM(POTASH) N = FOR ANYTHING THAT IS ALL GREEN(Leafy vegtables, NO fruit) they need more of the N number for just growing. P = FOR FRUITING & BLOOMS(tomatoes, berries, peppers, cucumbers, eggplants, melons even Flowers, needs more of P & K too than N number, but mostly P number or can be very close to the K number (as in MIRACLE GROW(3,5,6), but less N(Nitrogen). K = FOR PLANTS THAT ESPECIALLY NEED ROOTS Fed, (Underground crops) you want the K to be highest number- (Potatoes, beets, onions, etc) When I heard that talk by a Farmer or employee of a Farm Store, it made so much sense. I always wondered and now that's what I go by... I am growing for the 1st, the Aero garden pod, MEGA TOMATO... I saw gren tomatoes on it apx 4 days ago but no ripe ones. I switched to MAXI BLOOM and in abt 4-5 days, of seeing big green tomatoes on the vines, had amazingly turned red, & I just harvested abt 5 at 1 time today... NOTE : THE PLANT HAD SUCH THICK FOLIAGE THAT I DID DECIDE TO GIVE IT A PRUNING.... THAT HELPED TOO I BELIEVE (Growing in AG Bounty Elite). IN FACT - O n MaxiBloom, on pkg back it says to start with Maxigro during growing phase then to switch to MaxiBloom during fruit-bearing phase. Now I understand the concept as to why. 😁👍
