I have the unit that is twice the size as yours and it has a center divider. The kit came with 3 trays and 4th lid/tray. I get Excellent results with it. Greg

2023 going strong! sprouts!

Thanks for such a fantastic collection of videos...exactly what I needed to get started sprouting for the first time (not counting the time chia seeds grew out of my thermos when I forgot to wash it!). And I enjoy ALL of your brief interludes :)

I've had my 5x6 tray set (of 3) and my set of 3 screens+lids I got from you guys for just over two weeks now. We started with a pound of your French Garden mix, and this newbie sprouting household is in love with the product and results!! Will be ordering more seeds from you guys very soon. Thank you!!!

I'm loving the content; sprouts are my thing (my blog is called "Bicycles and Beansprouts"). I adore when you basically say that you are "one with the seed"; your mindfulness and awareness are plainly evident (nice homage; Steinbeck's "East of Eden" is my fave book of all time). Goin' shopping for more seeds tomorrow...my summer meals are shaping up nicely. Thanks for sharing your sage advice on simple, wholesome foods; I hope more of the world will take notice. Namaste'.

To clarify you prefer eating after one set of 12 hours sprouting? And wouldn't tupperware with grooves for draining work find too for storing?

The divider would be perfect for ME because I live in this little bitty 2 bedroom apartment. I've been wondering about buying a home though, after I graduate from college, and then the sky's the limit and I can even get my dream pets I've wanted since before I graduated from high school: a Persian kitten and a Golden Retriever puppy! Anyway, you sound like you're nowhere near me, so hopefully those things are available worldwide. Lol

I feel that there is a lot of water being wasted, is it okay to soak instead of rinsing?

...oh shoot, I just found out you're in San Francisco! Lol You sound like you're Scottish or something. No matter, that's even better. I'm just in Sacramento! At the very least I could probably just order them online. I'm really trying to start doing this. I have some wheat berries in some water in a bowl and I thought I'd try to make bread out of those once they start sprouting. Someone on another video said the sprouts need to be about the length of the berries themselves. Thought I'd try it.

What is hanging in the cloth bags overhead? :) i made a few of those to hold baked bread but don't ise them much.

I keep a toothbrush in the kitchen for cleaning the holes in strainers, SproutMaster, etc…

what about seeds are these boxes just for beans

I capture the rinse water and use it to water plants.

Is 12h soaking too long or is it ok, because they say if you soak the grains too long it will drown and die. I want to sprout barley grains can you tell me what is the perfect soaking hours. Thanks

What if you only have one lid??

Can you use sproutmaster for broccoli seeds? Also, if so can you do a video for that please.

It's better if use cylinder type pot. This will make soybean sprouts grow uniformly avoiding crooked sprouts.

@paulgem123 I think you used wrong seeds. You should use seeds that are specially for sprouting.

Why not just grow in a regular strainer with 2 plates.

you said "stay away from aluminium" and you are selling a plastic box? plastic is more dangerous than aluminium.
