The idea of Laudna heading up a TLC-style reality show where she finds a house, fixes it, and then runs from the pitchfork-toting locals is something I would wholeheartedly get behind.

I love how patient Matt is with his players, he literally lets them roleplay for an hour without a word. Hes truly great.

FCG asking Laudna "Are you dead? What the fuck is up with that?" Is one of the funniest moments in all of CR.

"Oh Laudna, you're like the cool side of the pillow" is the most underrated line ever. Robbie is a treasure

I have no ulterior motives. I just want to point out, Orym finishing Dorian's drink when he's not looking in order to keep him from getting too drunk, Orym tucking a flower he bloomed in Dorian's hair, Orym clenching his fist and clutching the sending stone especially tight when he thinks Dorian may be in danger. I will reiterate, I have no ulterior motives.

"What the fuck is up with that" is such a good way to build relations between the characters, absolutely stealing it!

The "what the fuck is up with that" section was genuinely genius and something I am stowing away for my home game sometime in the future. Thanks for that Taliesin, so much amazing character building came out of that idea. It was absolutely a delight to watch.

Laura losing her shit over the money is KILLING me. Like that's not Imogen freaking out. That is straight up Laura Bailey.

I don’t think anyone is talking about this: when Ashton says he thinks Laudna’s the oldest and Dorian says “I wouldn’t bet on that”, he’s talking about Fearne not himself. And Ashley gives a little self-satisfied smile which is adorable and very on brand for Fearne.

Sam: You could go back in time...change things. Liam: That's a fool's errand, my friend. OH Caleb!

27:10 Orym has definitely lost someone he loved deeply. The throat-clearing, the way he is shrinking into himself, how he can't look up let alone anyone in the eyes - that's the signs of someone who is REALLY uncomfortable with the topic at hand and is fighting of BAD memories. I can not stress enough how much I love Liam's way of non-verbal roleplaying.

Laudna giving Dorian the Bertrand doll feels like when a kid brings home their school project that's just a pile of macaroni and glitter, and their parent has to pretend like it's an amazing piece of art.

My favorite part of this is Liam's Quest reveal. He refuses to talk about on the street, so the whole group forces Liam into the MOST undramatic setting and situation ever and basically says Drama this, bitch. And the fun part, he does.

I absolutely adore Talesin just being like "hey, here's a random super heavy roleplay encounter to start things off among the party." That's BEAUTIFUL.

Ashton saying "Thank you for the fruit cup" has solidified in my mind that if Beauregard met a young Ashton she would've tried to recruit the punk kid into the Cobalt Soul.

Laudna has got to be one of the tree corpses bc when she says that her parents “fell into a trap” trying to give her a better life, I immediately thought of the scene in vox machina where the briarwoods bring that poor family into the castle to kill them and dress them up as effigies

Can we take a moment to appreciate that, after D was revealed, Liam and Taliesin had IDENTICAL crossed arms, then reached for their faces at the same moment? Their body language was identical, and both indicated that they weren't thrilled about having D back.

I'm currently living in a terrifying liminal space between a Critical Role episode coming out and Flando releasing their time stamps. A truly horrifying demiplane.

The complexity that resides in the fact that Imogen, said she only felt "peace" with having the abilities she has, when the "supposed straight out of a horror movie looking girl, came to town. The fact that even though Laudna is a person that is supposed to look like someone that would bring torment, suffering, fear, is the person that is the brightest softest most caring individual there is, despite everything she went/is going through... Thanks Marisha for creating, and thinking so thoughtfully about such a character.... And giving her a voice...

During the questions for Laudna, when she mentioned the hearing the Briarwoods' voices in her head, you can practically see the gears turning in Liam's head of "will we have to fight them again in this campaign?"

Listen, we need to start seriously planning how to stop Robbie from ever leaving CR. I'm talking traps, I'm talking using the terrain, I'm talking preparing spells, we gotta prepare for this encounter because we don't know when it's gonna be but the flags are already flying. Who's with me?

Taliesin's face through all the Laudna reveals is amazing. You can see the exact moment his Kill Bill sirens go off.

I feel like Fearne being unable to answer the question about regret fits with her character. She doesn't seem like someone who looks backwards. She's more curious about what is happening in the moment. 30:40

I love how Sam is always the "let's list our options" guy at the table.

During the Nord thing Robbie looks like he is delightfully confused and scared and the beginning and then he is drafted into it and it’s incredible 10/10

Look at their faces, even Matt can’t contain his joy as they all revel in his emotional performance. Welcome to the family, Robbie. Don’t ever go.

... I *just* clocked that Laudna's Form of Dread involves a spectral mourning veil and black tears running down her cheeks. Delilah Briarwood *famously* went full batshit from inconsolable grief after being widowed. Goddamn, they're good.

The underlying fear in all their faces the more they dealt with Effid was A+. Orym getting especially uncomfortable in his body language when Ashton commented that he'd "fuck them up" was especially nice. It was a clear cherry on top for a clearly mentally unstable, scary guy hanging from a rotting bird's nest.

Robby really knows how to play a bard. The stereotype is the dragon-seducing attention-seeker. But Robby has done such a good job building a character that's all about making everyone else look good

3:33:15 The funny thing about 10 platinum is that it's a hell of a deal. They would have had to pay 70 gold for front-row seats. Box seats would definitely be more expensive than 10g/seat; something like 20 or 25g a seat would be reasonable for the richer patrons. But they're getting it for like 14g/seat.
