Growing Little Forests and Equity - Green Communities Canada's Living Cities Canada Fund 

For a long time, it was almost given that affluent areas had more access to green space and marginalized areas had less access to green spaces. Green Communities Canada is working with environmental organizations across Canada to involve marginalized communities in the creation and stewarding of green spaces.
Funded by the Community Services Recovery Fund from the Government of Canada and administered by the Red Cross, Green Communities Canada is working with 21 partners across the country to create green spaces that are available and accessible to everyone.
