Thanks Patrick and Natalie for yet another episode of this informative, educative, inspirational and empowering series. I liked how Natalie postured herself to put the "breaking the plate in Uganda" question to Patrick😀😀

Patrick talked about our dependency on the foreign aid and how we can hardly break away from it since we are so inclined to it on almost all aspects:- politically, economically and socially. But there is: As a result of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the European's idea to wean themselves off Russian gas and oil was reborn- pointing at efforts to cut off Russian oil dependency by 2030. Now, this is economically unpractical, but we've got to appreciate the fact that it was confidently put on table to be pondered. It brought me to wonder what our African leaders discuss when they meet for the AU summit. Can't we(staring with leaders) take a strong position, strong and realistic steps and decide to start an economic, political and social trend that we wean us, our children and their children's off foreign aid and dependency? Of course, our leaders must start building a base of resilience for the citizens in every aspect: political, economic and social, so that a great deal of the shock(mostly economic) caused by crises such the Russia's invasion of Ukraine might be repelled. If that resilience is established (by the government- major player), with time we shall not only be to contain a small percentage of the consequences of crises in trade corridors, but also be able to fully armour of ourselves economically to repel totally the shock from any kind of crises.

About reforming the public sector, I think uganda should start thinking about federalizing permanent institutions say the health care , education and infrastucture. we have average amounts of funds to fuel growth even when its at a low pace. The solution here is to focus on implementation of the contractors when it comes to government aided Projects.

Wooow nice message thanks Mr Patrick and Dr Taliey Batature. Use what you have to get what you want. It is one of the most powerful pieces of advice for each entrepreneur. It is much easier if we use what we have to get everything that we want. Sometimes we have always that we need to succeed in what we want. However, sometimes we don’t have everything that we need to get what we want.

I think our education system is structured to be FOLLOWERS not LEADERS That's why students come out of universities when they cannot even DO....(HARNESS) The available scarse resources

Without paying keen attention to our human resource, our growth wont last for 100 years. Its time for Uganda to admit a shift from the industrial age to the information age where natives think more about solutions than conteplating about more problems which is only a wastage of time. lets create, lets innovate, lets think, lets solve problems and growth will come to us in no minute....
