Every flat roof I look at for a customer they say what do you think on the covering to use, I say use a premium felt 3 layer system, I rip of felt that’s lasted 30 years or more and only just started leaking but boards reusable still. Epdm has been the worst I seen for causing damp within a year on some.
A glass fibre flat roof, if laminated correctly with correct thickness of fibreglass mat and resin, should last a good 25 years or longer, in my humble opinion
@@roofingshiteroofing1189 …………… explain what you mean ‘warm roof’ ‘cold roof’. Do you mean a warm roof has insulation underneath and a cold roof doesn’t ?
It's leaking, and had condensation problems. the fibreglass never adhered to the a200 trims at the bottom of the roof. So that was soaking. Also you should never lay timber on top of insulation without ventilation
@@roofingshiteroofing1189 interesting . you seem to have separated the GRP from the OSB easliy .just goes to show how little adhesion polyester resin has .
