Got mine a month ago and it has been so much fun. I have other 22 semi rifles but I like this one the best. I was told after doing a Mag Dump that they lost their accuracy..... but I didnt have any issues. the accuracy stayed the same. Its never jammed and worked %100 with the STICK Mags. I tried the drum and had failures every 5 rounds, JUNK ! I like this gsg better than my MP40. great video.thanks for making them. you do a good job.

My GSG-16 has only 1 problem, if you lock the charging handle before inserting the mag, MP5 tap won't push the bullet into the chamber, but if you insert mag first, it works perfectly. I don't know why.

I have both this and a 10/22. Since getting the GSG-16, I almost exclusively use my 10/22 for hunting/varmint, the GSG 16 has taken over as the fun gun! The 110 drum mag had a lot to say about that...

I’ve been running CCI MINI MAGS through my GSG16 . Flawless... now it’s getting ridiculous to even find 22lr .. thanks for the video 🍺

The smith Nd Wesson 15-22 is definitely better looking and easier to maintain/clean. But I have both and their both fun

i like it but the only issue i really have is charging sometimes it doesn't charge until you are really rough with it

I always slingshot a charging handle on any rifle really. They are made to use the inertia to function so rough is good in my opinion :)

I had some guy at a gun show tell me that using Stingers in a GSG will damage the gun....I can't find any corroborating info though.

I have never heard that myself. The GSG16 is even stamped for .22LR high velocity. Thanks for supporting our channel!

Is the 9.5" barreled version non restricted in Canada? Cabelas website right now has it listed as non restricted

As far as I know the rimfire will be non restricted but I am not a lawyer 😉

Yes. Non res It goes by overall length of 26”(?) and it’s at 27.5 folded all the way in (it comes with a different stock)

Are there any after market parts for this firearm like larger barrel shroud , different for grip ?

Not that I am aware of but I know that some people have put fixed stocks on them and short barrels etc.

I'm considering this and a ruger 10/22, how would the GSG16 compare to the 10/22 in terms of accuracy and reliability?

I don't own a 10/22 but in my experience the GSG16 is very reliable. Personally had no issues at all. Loves rounds above 1050fps. Thanks for supporting our channel!

@@BlackBearOutdoors Thank you for the reply and I'm glad to help out your channel. I saw some forums with people talking about getting a GSG16 or a 10/22 and everyone said 10/22 (although both were great choices).

Yeller212 wmj I have shot the 10/22 before and they are a trusted rifle. Personally I prefer the GSG but that is just a personal choice

@@yeller212wmj7 No, I like the weight and manual of arms of the GSG more and the mags too. The stock that is adjustable and has a space for your spare mag etc. Gives you more options with mounting stuff out of the box too :) Check out our full review. I cover all that in it. and......it looks cool hahaha.

@@saskatchewandave They are great fun little .22's. Good trainer for new shooters too. Give it a good clean and lube and use some CCI stingers at first. It should run like a top :) Thanks for supporting our channel.

Any issues with jamming? Mine seems to jamming about every 7th or 8th shot. Especially low in the magazine

No issues here. I have heard of people tightening the screw on the pull tab on their mags that were having issues. Perhaps that is something to look into?

@@deespasojevic3013 I checked out a few other videos from other owners. A few showed the feed spring plastic housing had to sand down the feed to keep it from sticking to the inside of the magazine.

Make sure your keeping that eed ramp clean after a couple hundred rounds its kinda rough i just tapped it with my file and has fed smooth as butter just wanna smooth that nasty scratchy ramp mine chewed some 22s up at first

Firing 20 rounds of 22LR into any intruder will deter them. That’s where reliability comes in. Shoot a few brands of ammo and find one that functions whether you shoot slow or as fast as you can without malfunctions.

The one on the range was a cheap little Tasco scope and the one on the rifle during the talking parts is a Nikon Rimfire one. Hope this helps. Thanks for supporting our channel!
