Greetings from my homestate of North Carolina i love your videos hopefully we can meet and chat about the railroad both in Bryson City and Saluda Grade. I’m currently living in a town of Cherokee NC i can hear the train in the distance from my home. @@jamesgeorge960 I am learning Cherokee. My mom is learning and teaching me. I have not been to Saluda Grade yet, so it would be great to go soon, before it's all torn out for the rail trail! We will have to figure out about lunch sometime.

Thanks for the information. I heard that the GSMR had a couple of these being refurbished. There is another car called the Appalachian with the same paint scheme, so these silver and maroon coaches could become a common sight at the GSMR. Thanks for watching and commenting, have a great day!

I'm not exactly sure what the horn is according to the railroad, but it sounds like an nw Rs5t. It also sounds a little like a split manifold S3L from a distance, but it seems to have a unique sound.
