Roll races are ALWAYS FUN. First gear wheelies I always thought were sketch cuz first gear is kind of sketchy when bringing it up that's why second gear wheelies are probably the best way to go to each their own though ride safe brother

2nd gear wheelies are the best…u need to get the sweet spot and clutch-up right when u hit 8000rpm. U give it gas and clutch up like u been doin

definitely don't need gear at 150+ mph...I suppose I agree that a gradual progression of being more comfortable and not wearing gear is very common and completely normal, if you're gonna take the bike out for a cruise in an area you're comfortable with, I totally get it. But out racing with 9+ bikes doing high way pulls going 150+ is exactly where gear will save you...sliding across the pavement at 150 mph skin to pavement doesn't sound fun to me, all because ONE stray rock or car part or anything. Of course wrapping yourself around a tree is preeetty much end all be all, in your exact scenario gear would save you in case of an accident. Like when you got scared by a squirrel jumping out at you at 20 mph..you think that squirrel won't fuck your day up at 150?? Living up to the GSXR stereotype I suppose

You're on a group ride at the back trying to pop wheelies. Your inexperince could of had you lose that bike and have it hurtling down the highway wiping out your fellow riders. It's this Tom foolery I don't understand with sport and superbike riders, you no longer wear the gear and seem easily influenced and I mean no disrespect.
