We waited 10 years for the Gta 6 trailer, only to wait another 2 years for the actual game.

Looks like an epic game. Btw, it's funny how mainstream media talks about the fact that this is the first GTA where you can play as a woman, even though GTA 1 had this feature.

Fun fact: all the footage was in-game so expect it to look practically the same. Actually one of the more refreshing things about Rockstar, they don’t seem to ever use cinematic.

Well, judging by the fact Rockstar said they were going to censor all the crass jokes (in a game about being a feral, violent criminal), definitely not holding my breath for this one.

For those who are concerned that the female will play the more dominant role, while the male is overshadowed; judging by how the trailer represented things. keep in mind, that this is only trailer #1. I suspect that trailer #2 will then show things from the male protagonists perspective in a similar fashion to how they did with the female protagonist.

Some people fails to understand one thing about rockstar is that they never do cinematic trailers. Everything thing you see was with ingame engine. City and npcs are gonna look exactly like that in gameplay.

Now here’s hoping it won’t be a woke mess, but I’m not holding my breath.

4:51 the RDR2 trailer and original GTA V trailer looked basically like it did in the launch version, the RDR2 one even got improved on in some places since it didnt come out for almost 2 years after the first trailer

2:43 I've never been to a beach in Florida however I'm pretty sure you are not going to see that many chocolate-colored bodies in one location. If there was a beach in Harlem maybe but not in Florida. Who the hell does Rockstar think they are fooling with this crap? Also, by making npcs mostly minorities white gamers are going to get called racist when they post videos of mowing npcs down in brutal ways. It was never a problem in previous games in the franchise. Thanks to Rockstar going out of their way to pander they have created a very problematic situation.

Lets be honest its all about GTA Online. GTA 5's story was ok but clearly not the main focus for Rockstar. Once news of the next GTA Online comes out no one will be talking about the story of the main game.

The RU-vid search algorithm was messed up with GTA6, when you typed it in I could only find reaction videos and not the official GTA trailer.

The effect of if people will eventually reject this game won't be felt until GTA7. There's always a lag. Look at Capt Marvel, it made a billion because of The Avengers but in reality, nobody liked the movie and the results are the sequel, The Marvels and how nobody watched it. GTA5 was so good that this game will sell no matter what.

While it's too early to come to an objective conclusion, it is important to remember Dan Houser as well as others who were the creative driving force behind Rockstar since its inception are now gone. Nearly every single time something like this happens, the company is not the same. Bioware, Bungie, Squaresoft are just a few examples. Hopefully, I'm wrong, but I find it unlikely Rockstar will buck the trend. It's worth noting that Sam Houser is still president of Rockstar, so there is some optimism there. However there whole "reducing toxicity" nonsense of a few years ago combined with the fact that Rockstar is a subsidiary of Take Two Interactive and considering that every single major Western game company, especially those that are heavily corpratized have all gone down the same route I wouldn't be surprised if Sam Houser ultimately has very little control over his company. It's very likely that Sam Houser is a case of not wanting to leave something you love even if it means watching it turn into something you don't recognize, rather than leaving it behind and moving forward. We shall see.

Yes it looks great and looking forward to seeing Vice City again, but if they pull the same shit with the online play and microtransactions as they did in 5 I'm out. Not going through that again. It's not worth the headache.

More likely I will not be getting the game on day 1. See how things go with the game later on like I have with GTA5. So far that I'm aware of "Dragons Dogma II" and "FFXIV Dawntrail" only games I'm interested in at the moment.

I'm not going to pretend it's not huge but lets also not pretend there is not an army of bot accounts also at work compared to 10 years ago etc. As for the game itself, I'll form an opinion when I see the actual game, how many more times do you need to be burned by trailers? But so far, potentially great game world with writing and characters for the modern audience... If you're the modern audience they always talk about, cool.

Not holding my breath , this will have none of the jokes , feel and style of the game we all know . This sense of humour and satirical take on society and its seedy underworld along with cartoon violence and clear stereotypes is why we all played this game for decades. Its time to accept that this game is dead on arrival and they are going to bait and switch everyone and blame fans for bad reviews. It will sell but only because its gta. Its like TFA all over again.. captive audience desperate to recapture vice city feels and we all get duped into buying a dead/sanitised game with none of the charm of its predecessors

Naw what they'll do is release the standard version for Xbox/pS5 in 2025 for $79.99 which will be 30fps 1080p......then in 2027 they'll release the ENHANCED version for the consoles for another $79.99 with 60fps.......then in 2030 we'll see the REMAKE for PS6 and Xbox Series x2 for $119

It has the signs of dissapointment. Female protagonist where it doesn't make sense on a platform like GTA. The way Rockstar communicated that they will be more sensitive to modern audiences. In my experience these signs are the canary in the coal mine that it won't be exactly what we want. The tone of the game, at least the 3D games, was always based on movies and tv shows like Goodfellas, Godfather, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Narcos. Media without woke crap and feminism in it. Bossbabes etc. It feels to me that that tone is completely gone.

There is plenty of fat characters in the GTA VI trailer. You can see like the big noses and butts. Sexy characters should have been kept in an M-rated video game series. We still remember what Take-Two and Rockstar said when they will quit on the sex change themes.
