I f**king loved the combat and the fact that you can hit the gym and increase your physical stats in GTA Sanandreas, and I really wish that they bring that back. It was so fun to go hit the gym and train with the coach and learn new combat moves.
Thats something i was thinking about yesterday, with triple a titles taking close to a decade to come out for top quality games, theres only so many decades in our lives. You only get several generational titles a lifetime. Now im tearing up
I mean real there not going to miss much literally the best people at Rockstar have long since left now is that saying the game can't be good no but is it likely to be good most likely not not to say the game won't sell a lot
I really hope this time around we get a fully functional fighting mechanic.. no more waiting for slipping left for a counter😂.. actual kicks, blocking high and low, grappling and even tackles..
Im so glad it’s dropping on a Tuesday since it’s within my day off and mainly I work night shift and on weekends. I got the most bizarre schedule that clashes with a lot of events that happens which I cannot attend. I got to sleep and wake up early just to watch this trailer hot off the press, I’m super excited for this!
GTA used to define gaming for me when I was a kid. Now I couldn't care less about GTA 6. Maybe I've changed, maybe the games have. But nowadays GTA is just so boring to me, i really hope they do something, yknow.... new? But they're probably gonna play it safe and just improve graphics and reduce features- as all subsequent GTA games since SA have done.
Honestly, I enjoyed the gun fights in RDR2. The waiting a second so he can actually aim down the sights for better accuracy was a nice touch. GTA6 who knows what theyll do
I’ve only seen your channel on Facebook, followed because you’re hilarious and funny realistic views on stuff. 14 million subs is a surprise, congrats man!
I like how chill rockstar is with these announcements, they arent even doing it at the game awards or anything, they just post a tweet and half of the population goes crazy 💀

rockstar’s announcement for gta 6 on twitter got nearly a million likes in an hour. i’ve literally never seen something so insane before. it wasnt even a main tweet, it was like 3rd tweet in a random thread of announcements and still got those numbers. probably the most anticipated game in the last decade

The trailer was chosen purposely to be revealed on a Tuesday because Take-Two Interactive (Rockstar's parent company) cares deeply about their stock prices and having the trailer drop right as the stock market opens on Tuesday allows for their stock to soar throughout the rest of the week.
Actually doesn’t make sense considering that stock price does not reflect information that is already publicly known. This has been priced in for months and months. Nice try though
bro it’s literally nuts to think about the layers that will come with a new gta, going to be insane to see the difference in games and i know it’s gonna be a insanely great game and blow up off the charts more than anything in recent history. truly first game i’ve been really excited to see in years.
We can all agree the three birds flying in the announcement art is indeed Franklin, Michael, & Trevor who just ate peyote plants and are heading to vice city. So they'll definitely be in GTA 6
If RDR2 is any hint at the level of quality that’s gonna be in 6 then I’m sold. Now I’m not expecting it to as finicky in terms of looting/buying items. But in terms of cinematography, story, and attention to detail, I’m very excited.
It's rumoured the graphics leap is bigger than the leap between gta5 and rdr2- but grsphics aside they need to do some big changes for my taste-most importantly the way missions play out. Nakeyjakey put it best in his video about rdr2,it's mind boggling how narrow the critical path in missions is compared to the free roam almost sandboxy gameplay when you're, well free roaming.took me out if the immersion like a kick in the nutsack every time how stupidly castrated my options were, so i never finished the game which is tragic given how good the story itself is. So yeah long story short they gotts do a little more for me than just graphics, but boyoboy how sick they alone will be makes my brain wiggle
9am ET will equal evening in Asia, midday in Europe/africa and morning in NA/SA. Massive amounts of people awake to just break youtube watch records, especially in Asia. Also, having it release during the day means some people will actually watch it at work and in school which will inevitably cause people who would otherwise not watch it or notice its release to hear about the trailer and generate "hype"
@@DMTEntity88 don't buy the game on release day, wait for user reviews. If the user reviews are bad, don't buy it, COD made many mistakes that will ruin Activision's image.
What's crazy is i just revisited max payne 3 last week and had an absolute blast replaying it, hearing someone mention this masterpiece of gun mechanics is a wild coincidence.
Max Payne 3 gunplay feels unique not only because of the bullet time mechanic but because the games' physics responds differently to the impact made by different calibers (high calibers got enemies tumbling and literally spinning, low calibers got them staggering and could soak up a lot of rounds). The game literally has no death animations (unlike other modern R* games) so every death feels unique. With that being said I think it's cool to see it in the new GTA but that would involve a lot processing power that I doubt a mid-rig PC could tank, let alone a console. Not to mention it could literally add to the already humongous disk space that GTA VI would surely require.
This is what we talk about. If the game developers have good reputation of putting out games that really break the standard the community will do the marketing for you. Companies need to learn from this.
Rockstar has a terrible reputation though. GTA online is extremely transaction motivated, Red Dead 2 online is just genuinely undercooked, and the latest GTA remaster is laughable. I feel that people are holding onto an image of what Rockstar used to be rather than being realistic about what Rockstar is.
The biggest improvement I want to see in GTA VI is an update to the mission structure. Having all the freedom the open world has to offer only for that to be stripped away once a mission starts is frustrating. If they can find a balance between tackling objectives how you want mixed with big scripted moments would be great.
@@SoulnixOfficial No its not, or at least it shouldn't be. Wouldn't you agree that we should be able to achieve the missions objectives in a more open ended manner? Otherwise it's what's the point in having an open-world sandbox to play in?
@@SoulnixOfficialGames like MGS V, Breath of the Wild and Hitman allow you tackle objectives in a dynamic way that felt different for each player. These games encourage creativity where as rockstars current design tells you exactly what to do and when to do it. Merging the open world elements into tackling mission objectives would be a huge innovation that is long overdue.
You've maybe seen it but NakeyJakey did a video about Rockstars gameplay being out dated. Should give it a watch, he goes over a lot of what you mentioned.
I just hope the writing is as good as it's always been. It's one of the enduring qualities of all the GTA games, cramming incisive parody into every corner of the game, providing a snapshot of whatever place and time the story takes place. With Dan Houser and Lazlow gone, I'm slightly worried about how good the writing will be, but I take comfort in the fact that every department working on this game is staffed with some of the best people in their field.
Sorry but I can assure you this GTA game will be far more focused on microtransactions and multiplayer content over all else. The studio passed the point of no return with GTA V when they opted for microtransactions over single player DLC…..then they tried the same thing with RDR2. As somebody that has been playing GTA since GTA2 on the original PlayStation (and owned and played just about every Rockstar Games title on the PS2), it’s my opinion that the studio has been going down hill since they came out with GTA V. I use to love the company so much that I actually almost interned at Rock Star SD when they were still Angel Studios.
@@franciscofranco5739 But the single player story will always be good. I'm sure Dan Houser wrote the story before they left considering how long the development process has been.
Charlie, you hit the nail on the head with saying that Max Payne 3’s gunplay is incredible. Rockstar would be wise to use its gunplay in GTA 6 or the Max Payne remakes they announced.
I think for the first trailer, I’d prefer it to be similar to the first trailer of GTA V. Just showing off the open world, and giving an overall teaser. Then later on, we can see gameplay trailers.
That's exactly what we're gonna get, our first offcial song in the game will play over the trailer, we'll probably hear some lines from one of the playable characters, etc
@@musicalvibes1932 I’m not sure entirely sure what you mean. I don’t know how the leaks would motivate them to release the gameplay trailer. If anything wouldn’t that motivate them not to, since we’ve already seen some of the mechanics, and it won’t be a surprise. A trailer with a tease to the story makes more sense… Not that it won’t happen, I just wouldn’t understand why.
I think it would be cool to get upgraded fighting mechanics like in GTA: San Andreas you could go to boxing, karate,or different fighting guns n learn different fighting combos n techniques that would be a cool thing to kinda emulate in GTA 6 somehow & also I’ve always wanted to see a speedometer when you get in a vehicle & wish it was displayed on the screen
9am ET is actually the perfect time to release the trailer. It's 2pm here in the UK and a similar time in most of Europe and Africa. 11pm in Japan and midnight in Australia so mostly everyone in the world will be awake for it.
I love that you brought up the gun and combat mechanics for sure. It seemed like R* used a large amount of the gun mechanics from Max Payne 3 and implemented it into RDR2. It's definitely some of the best out there IMO and would be more than expected from them to implement it into GTA 6.
I think GTA6 will try something fancy with the pricing. We seen how much of a change GTA 5 was and I’m completely certain they want to price the gamer hard in the beginning because they know GTA isn’t just another game it is one of those things that is a generational icon and they fit in every aspect of marketing
One thing I noticed from the leaks is that they definitely did overall some things. Like, for example, the driving driving looks more realistic not arcadey like V. Honestly, it kind of looks like GTA4s driving.
I think 9am on a tuesday is genius. This is the ultimate game that EVERYONE knows. People will be at work and school yes, which means it'll be a hot topic of conversation for the general public.
At this point, Rockstar doesn’t have to be spend millions of dollars to promote GTA VI, the game is basically promoting itself. The hype around it throughout the last decade and a couple of trailers are enough to make this THE highest selling game of all time 🔥🔥🔥
@@joshchaplin3705unfortunately the gaming landscape has fallen victim to microtransactions and I absolutely hate seeing people support it. Red dead 2 shooting and gta shooting is actually very different. I really hope they go down a similar route for gta 6. Reward spacing out your shots, learning the right guns to spam close range. There was the least amount of guns in a rockstar game in a long time but each felt different than another, so much so there wasn’t even “meta” it was about the best gun for your play style in PvP. Fast accurate guns with low damage or slow guns that can pack a punch. TLDR I hope for more innovation but disagree rockstar hasn’t changed the gun play.

Anyone for that matter. Considering rockstar took out 200 vehicles recently from gta 5 to paywall it. Bet 6 has worse mission pay and they microtransaction everything.

Finally someone said it. Ever since the first GTA 5 trailer came out I've been wishing like crazy to see the Max Payne 3 shooting mechanics in GTA and extremely disappointed we never got them.
I expect it to be more photorealistic, innovative in gameplay and they might give us not only a big ass new city BUT ALSO allow players to travel to other locations from past games in the series (take a flight to Liberty City, drive to Vice City etc) 🙂 this might be too much, not doable, but if they do manage to pull that off it would be INSANE.
If I remember correctly the leaks said that they were planning to do that, maybe something like being able to drive/fly from vice city to carcer city, liberty city etc post launch

@@brayden3822 considering how good gta 5 was, and how long its been since that game its safe to assume its gonna be good. although i do agree with you considering its possible the game ends up being a dumpster fire
I can probably speak for everyone in saying I'd like more enterable buildings. Almost none of the buildings in GTA V were anything but a pretty looking square unless they had some involvement with a mission. It would give the game a ton of depth just to add more of this.
Agreed. While making the map larger would be cool, I think it would go much further to make the map “deeper”. I want to be able to explore a neighborhood for hours and feel like I’ve only scratched the surface, rather than just add on to how many minutes it takes to fly across the map.
@@charmxsbeanie4726 In a video where they showed chats with the guy who as I understood did the leaks, he said more than 70% of buildings will be enterable, and that there will be 3 major cities
Considering RDR2 was such a ground breaking game filled with content. I can only imagine what GTA VI feels like - I genuinely think it's going to bring everything great from all their games into one. Everything they've made has been built with RAGE (Rockstar Advanced Engine) so the copy and paste of mechanics isn't out of the world of possibilities, and if they really want this to be a new beginning, then I wouldn't put it past them
If you look at the progression of their games theyve been all funnelling towards better ways to tell stories in video games. Rdr 2 had one of the best game stories ever but i cant help thinking that was a tech demo for gta6
Judging by the map that has leaked online it looks like tampa and ft myers are being included so that brings a smile to my face knowing I’ve lived in both of the other major cities they are including at launch in one of the biggest games of the 2020’s
Remember folks, when GTA 5 launched 10 years ago, it made 1 billion in its first 3 days, most of which was on launch day. Numbers like that haven’t really been replicated since by anything. GTA 6 is going to be insane.
I agree with the gunplay. At least in story mode it's brain dead. While behind any sort of cover, Press L2 to auto aim on a target, R2 to kill. Rinse repeat x500 and congratulations you beat the game.
I think Strauss has a point when it comes to game prices, just in the opposite direction. Games with lower entertainment value and length to them, *cough* MW3, shouldn't be sold as full priced games when their campaigns are at best 4 hours in length, and their multiplayers have a year life-cycle at best. Games should take into account the amount of content they have and price accordingly, not to gouge and increase, but to get rid of bs companies like Activision overcharging for dogshit that you can only get 10-15 hours out of.
It’d be nice but it’d never happen.. the greed is too powerful and they’d never figure out ways to save you money at the cost of them not making as much.. they only ever do any work to figure out how they can squeeze more money out of you.. I just stopped buying most games because I’m tired of the way gaming companies are doing things now and I’m not going to support them
Just so you know Charlie the algorithm really is against you in my case, I’m a weekly sometimes daily watcher and I have to go out of my way to find your content. I even look up GTA6 often, so the fact that I found this video by having to go to your page is crazy
Its happening. I know for a fact it wont be "charged by the hour". They know theyll make boatloads, this will be the most profitable entertainment product EVER
Would it fail though? If GTA6 is a smash, what if they tried to do it with GTA7? You really think that many people are just NOT going to play the latest GTA? Sure, a lot less will play because of it but they WILL make more money overall in the long run if they do that and they WILL have a lot of people that can afford it by the balls. Maybe they'll just incur the charge for multiplayer at fist and eventually the whole product.
@@charlespancamo9771online is the thing which earns them that money, single player story mode will be free. If anything, single player will be more bland now while online will be much more refined.
It was like this for GTA 5 too. I remember lining up at midnight at best buy for it, i had waited years. This will be the same x10, and deservedly so. This game is minted on arrival, trust me, vice city(Miami) is such a W map.
These rich people who already do nothing for their wealth think that we should all be paying subscriptions for everything so they can make more money with 0% more work from them or their companies. It's appalling.
I would love to see shooting styles. What I mean by that is what if they added personality to the way your character shoots like maybe you could make your character shoot pistols one handed or even sideways. I think that would be so cool!
I’m sure they will. They already did a lil style customization in gta online and red dead. You could mess with your walk style, and emote, motorcycle riding style, seems right up their alley
Tuesday makes a lot of sense actually. Monday to prepare for the release, and then leaving as many consecutive working days to deal with the aftermath.

Also thinking instead of character switching they probably got it set up like GOW:R AI teammate to where the character you aint playing does there own thing and you can send commands.
