you can tell this "remaster" was made on the budget of a ham sandwich since they couldn't be bothered to give each game their original menu sounds and just used the san andreas one. It's a small detail, sure, but it gave each game it's distinctive feel.
Annnnnd you still can't swim neither does this game Have a very good checkpoint like the one from GTA V like the Ability to skip a part of a Mission after failing to many times I also wished the Developers could given the rhino Tank a better model like such as A M1A1 Abrams tank and make the guns look better and the characters
I was kinda thinking that too. The game sounds should have sounds from their respective game. The game isn't just gta san andreas, it's all 3 games, so they should be sticking to each game having their original sound effects.
And yet, they somehow had enough time to change easter eggs, including the one where they referenced how big the files for the bridge is. It's clear the remaster has some poor plannings/super rushed. Some part are really detailed, some parts are goddamn shoddy.
Lance betrayal was most disrespectful in the series. We literally helped lance get revenge for his brother & made him the under boss and what does he do he sold us out to the enemy so he can take over everything we worked for with sweat & tears. What's even more stupid that lance barely knew sonny & didn't think he would betray lance too ? the more you think about it the worst it gets
imagine hiring a ton of guys to do your dirty work, equipping them with high caliber guns, armor, etc, and make them rush the mansion to kill one man only to be defeated by a guy who's quick-aiming a revolver with a hawaiian shirt.
I like the way they made the shoot em up feel more intense with more people to fight on the mansion, more bodycounts on the floor and blood, some messed up painting frames with more detailed messy floor props. Back then it was so empty even tho it's a last mission
I was optimistic that the remastered model of Tommy will look better while speaking, sadly it didn't happened, it even looks more unexpressive than the OG model

i always wondered why the mission begins with Tommy in his office alone right after getting in Sonny's face, its like he said "stay here let me get my gun..." and Sonny said "ok i'll get mine and a few henchmen"
I love Tommy's shiny sausage forearms + hands + fingers, it's like 1-color per-vertex, no textures at all, just a smooth gradient reflection reminding me of every OpenGL tutorial out there when you get to the chapter of Phong illumination model :)))))))))))))))))
Back on the PS2/Xbox (original) as well as the PS4/XboxOne (Ported over editions), clicking the left thumbstick (or C on PC) will allow Tommy to crouch behind objects or cover. It can be useful, but the only unpleasant thing about doing so means that you can NOT move unless you get forced to move by something else.
@@ericdrake4076 honestly having more options to play in is a really big plus, but most of the things the game has are just bad (glitches). I wish the mobile version had that mechanic.
I don't mean to piss someone off but i hate this game . I absolutley loved the original one and gta 5 was very nice too . When i saw the news about them being remastered , i was super excited to play my favourite gta game (vice city ) with some better graphics , fixes and more . But this just looks like a rip off of the original . Like when he fires the gun , it's exactly the same animation as the original . People say they added better graphics , but gta 4 looks way better than this game .Tbh, the original looks better than this . It looks like rockstar took the original games , made them a bit worse and republished them .
Fucking last mission is bugged for me fucking sucks right after I kill sonny it tell me to go guard my safe and keeps sending enemies at me when the game should end any advice from anybody I’m not going to keep playing this mission over and over just to pass what I already know I did
That isn't a coincidence. The developers were influenced by Scarface and Miami Vice when making the game, and the mansion is clearly meant to be a homage.
