I can’t remove the housing , it just won’t budge !, so I’m unable to lift the old pivot out

You get the correct screwdriver with the kit.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the needed piece of equipment to unscrew it. Can I buy one online and if so what is it called size etc.

My problem with this model is that the green locking pull thing will only lock the handle in the upright or much too low angled position, making it useless. When you want to use it in 'joystick' mode, the handle just comes off.

You will need a new yoke and a lower rear handle.

@@garyridgway4547 If yours does not have the green pull back clip its a different yoke system and this one will not fix your problem. This is only for AR29 or AR30 models only that have the green pull back clip to release the handle.

If handle is in upright position but then whole hoover falls backwards and then the yoke has risen and won't reposition does that mean you have to put a new yoke in?
