I have just purchased the new G Tech Air Ram mk2 to replace my original Air Ram, thought you might like to know some of the differences between models.
Yes looks really nice & the lights are useful as shows bits up as you vacuum. Very useful having the clear window as I now empty container more often as I can see the dust filling up. Would be nice to see in different colours I agree. Thank you for watching the video!
Nice looking machine, compared to the old model. Great to see the brush bar is removed without tools and screws that could be lost. The light is a good idea for around beds and under dark furniture. I would like to see some colour options.
Have both of them too and I have your bin, love gtech and the lawn mower is good too I need to get the hand held model for my stairs next , good review
I do like the dust carrier on the new one, once I got the hang of it. It's nice to be able to see the dirt as then I empty more often. I don't think the battery last as long as the original model but nice to have the lights as shows up the crumbs. No problem to charge back up again. I especially like the new filters, dry much quicker & easier to install too.
very good review. I hope they have beefed up the gearbox a bit as I have replaced the drive cog twice on mine now. also you can remove and charge the battery on the mk1, you just press the tab on the top of the battery and pull it off completely Do you prefer the new dust carriers to the old ones? seems a bit of a faff if something gets trapped inside. Thanks for the review, I have not actually seen these for sale yet, even Gtech dont have them advertised on their website
Good Demo, great for dog hair as you say light and easy to carry, A top vacuum cleaner, Hope you noticed your scissors in the bin ? Thanks for posting : )
Would you say that the old v new, that the new has more power.. or just about the same? Also the K9 version.. is there really any difference or it is a case of more power? Cheers
I haven't really noticed any more power than the original version, but some nice extras, easier emptying, shorter time drying filter, lights to show up crumbs. Disadvantage battery doesn't last as long but then I still get 4 days with several uses per day so nothing to complain about.
I ended up buying the previous version. I was hoping for something with a bit more power. It's ok and does a job but I'm not convinced. Having a 3 storey house with lots of stairs requires something mobile, lite, and powerful. I give this 2 out of 3
I think the power of this one is about the best you are going to get out of a cordless vacuum, a mains operated vacuum might get more power but probably heavier & less convenient to just pick up & go.
My mark 1 blew the same day I got it it was second hand of eBay never buy unless they are brand new or it will chew up the gear and you end up going back to a dyson
I sold my dyson as the battery life was very short, small dust bin & didn't do a very good job on my rug with dog hairs. Saying that my sister really likes it, I think depends on what use you need it for.
