I think the wildest thing about this special is seeing the extent to which Peter is now the adult in the room among this group, now that Gamora is away.

Yeah, he was able to be the fun dad of the dysfunctional family but with the responsible mom gone he had to step up. It is sobering as well to both lose the woman you love whose a great friend and when she comes back, its from the time before she knew you and grew together over years.

The ending was so wholesome. Mantis teared up thinking Peter wouldn’t wanna be reminded of his father, only for him to say it’s the greatest gift he could’ve gotten. That hit home for me when I had a long lost half-sister. James Gunn knows how to pull on the heart strings.

20:12 *Yondu* didn't have the large fin until *Nebula* shot his small one in GotG2. He then had *Baby Groot* go and find the prototype fin, which is the larger fin. And then once *Yondu* died that larger fin was passed on. *EDIT:* Oh, and *John Cena* really shows off his acting chops in *Peacemaker.* IMO it's one of the best short run superhero series that have been made, regardless of studio. She was hiding the facts that ego kills his kids and that she was only kept alive because of her powers being my beneficial to him.

Mickey makes a good point. One of the most emotional moments for me is when Drax is showing his subtle yet intense sadness in GOTG Vol 2. He’s played the same character for a while, but he’s demonstrated range. Intensity, comedy and sadness. All believable

The arm Nebula gave Rocket is Bucky's current arm. Bucky's old arm got destroyed by Iron Man in "Civil War". also, Yondu has two headgears as established in Guardians Vol. 2. The one he has in these flashbacks was destroyed by Nebula in Vol. 2, prompting him to use another one, which Kraglin (Sean Gunn) now wears.

They changed Cosmo into a girl because the character is based on Laika. The voice actress is the one who played the daughter of Borat. Groot is swole to drive home the point that this is the son of Groot.

I think the Rock can be a good actor when he wants to be, but I feel like ego and his brand have him stuck playing a caricature of himself in most things he's in. Bautista and Cena have shown a wayyy bigger range and willingness to be vulnerable in their acting abilities, either in the more somber moments of Peacemaker or in Blade Runner 2049.

Bucky didn't get a new arm in Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The only two arms he got were the first chromed from hydra and the black and gold vibranium from wakanda in infinity war.

Dave Bautista is AMAZING in Bladerunner. That's a subtle, wide-ranging, and nearly perfect performance.

Yeah Drax in GotG 1 and Bladerunner really showed how subtle he can actually act. He was amazing in that scene and in GotG he went from cackling maniac to goofball to stoic warrior to grieving father and husband. Just the emotion he brought to the line "I will stand by you Quill, and in the end, see my wife and daughter again" never leaves me without tears in my eyes. It was the the perfect feeling of a man who found a strong purpose and kinship again and will embrace it to his dying breathe. Bautista is leagues above Vin Diesel and The Rock.

Flula is also in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 as one of the gold Sovereign soldiers. One of the last ships firing at the Guardians is destroyed by Ego and he says "you suck" to a comrade

I think that creature Cosmo gave Kraglin for his gift was the same creature that was fighting on that gambling table from Volume 1 when they went to Knowhere and Rocket and Drax went drinking.

i agree with Micky, he is really good at whatever he is given and it's not always same role like Rock, Love him as Drax and after Guardians of Galaxy, James Bond movie which he was appreciated even though it wasn't huge but recently he has been casted with major projects special by Denis Villeneuve Two movies, Dunes and Blade Runner, Army of dead, and am sure, James Gun will give him a DC role for him

Ya'll crazy for this being the peak of Phase 4 though. Shang-Chi, NWH, MoM, the MCU shows, Love & Thunder were all just as great and fun/creative and different from the other phases. Was extremely refreshing.

The Rock DOES have decent range. However it's just that every time he goes outside of that "zone", the movie usually doesn't do well critically and/or financially. See Snitch, Gridiron Gang, Pain & Gain, or Be Cool.

Nope. Editor is correct. Slate was used for movement & behavior reference. The dog we see on-screen is CG. Same with Rocket; they had a raccoon on-set to map the movement, and then used that as reference for the CGI

We've seen her throw down with Gamora in GotG two, these girls can lift guns as large as tanks! I'm confident that she could over power Bucky. I know some don't want to believe that, but this ain't the comics!
