The Moroccan girl used many of the typical giveaway words and expressions for daariya. The large mix of berber words into the arabic is what makes it harder for other countries and even regions to understand eachother. Good vid, love the channel, I'm based in London and Arab so happy to participate if you're ever looking for new ppl ;) Also I'd just like to say that all arabic accents have non arab influences maybe some more than others but it doesn't make any accent more "pure" than another, only classical Arabic is "real pure Arabic" and that's why its the language we all read and write in whether we are from Mauritania or Oman. We should all be proud of our language, it truly is one of the most poetic and deep languages on earth. Also would just like to add that in this day and age the term "arab" is a cultural term and not racial therefore anyone who identifies with the language/culture is an arab even if ethnically they may be amazigh from Marrakech or Assyrian from Kirkuk, just want to clarify that because I've read a few sweeping statements on this thread saying people from the maghreb aren't arabs which is completely inaccurate as many people from that region DO identify as Arabs!

Completely disagree. If you’re Assyrian (which I am) then we are not Arab. We are ethnically Assyrians who speak Arabic. We are middle eastern yes but not arabs. We have our own history and ethnicity and language. It’s similar to Berbers in North Africa. They are not arabs. They may speak Arabic but are a different ethnic background with their own language and history.

The Saudi dialect sounded very nice to my ears. I wonder, what part of Saudi Arabia that was from? (KSA is so huge there can't be only one dialect!) Would it be Western Saudi? I can't speak Arabic, but I could catch the word "bukra" and I wondered whether that was a common word with Egyptian.

@@Bellasie1 in Saudi there is a huge dialect, yes but, so often we speak with one that for the whole country uses standard Saudi accent, and it is the one the Saudi girls used (i think it is the most similar to the middle of Saudi "najad" )

Pleasant and very funny ! And comforting too : as an Algerian born and living in France, I was amazed to get 3 out of 5 dialects, the Egyptian, Palestinian and Moroccan parts were the easiest to understand. The Kuwaiti and Saudi dialects were more difficult, I got just 2 or 3 sentences out of each of them. In France, we have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, and to hear almost every language. Thank you, love and greetings from Paris !
