So Gülgün is from North Cyprus and idk why she did not say it. North Cyprus Turkish Republic ( K.K.T.C. ) is not part of Turkey but it is a country which many other countries not recognize. So this is because why Gülgün did not say her own country.
@@bledakaan She said "small" when they ask her "Country". If she misunderstood the question, it is possible that she lived on one of the islands in Turkey: Göçde, Burgaz, Kınalı etc. Either she misunderstood the question or she is from Northern Cyprus. Because Northern Cyprus is approximately the size of Istanbul in terms of surface area.
No one speaks with a stereotypical accent except for Italian lady and Vietnamese lady. French lady did not speak in a French accent at all, same with Turkish lady. Brazilian dude had a very "weak" accent.. so it's hard to tell where he is from.. this was very hard to be honest.
@@enesaylak She is not from Cyprus, there are the Prince İslands in front of İstanbuıl and also a part of İstanbul. She is from Heybeli Ada which is one of them.
@@bledakaan Do you personally know her, or just make a guess? My guess, after she spoke about her small country, was also that she was from Cyprus, and she kind of confirmed that when she kind of told she was like Turkish but not exactly at the end.
The geographical knowledge of Americans surprises me as a European, she said, Slovakia as an island nation in the Balkans. It's central European and completely landlocked lol. Btw please no offense, she's really cute
But you have to remember that the U.S. has 3.8 million square miles while Europe has 1.7 million square miles. Learning the geography of our own country (the U.S.) more than makes up for any lack of knowledge about European geography.
It's really different circumstance. It's relative. Europes have so many countries around each country. So It's much easier to get where some places are naturally. Because the specific country is always nearby.
@@bonnyboyer7949Well, most of the Brazilians I know think that Americans are kind of dumb. Not saying that we're smarter, we're basically at the same level, but we joke about it while most Americans think they are smarter than they really are. Of course, there are exceptions, but just take a look at the internet, and you'll understand what I'm saying.
That has to be the hardest group of people for this game ever, they all have excellent English, both pronunciation and grammar. Getting two right was brilliant, I think it could easily be zero going off their speech. I'm completely overwhelmed by just how well Lexi's* done! *sorry, not sure of the spelling.
And Gulgun was immediately obvious to me, that she is Turkish. They really shouldn't say their names, because that could be a dead giveaway. They got very lucky here.
As i am brazilian i could hear some accent coming from Andre, 'cause i'm used to listen to brazilians speaking english, so it was easy for me, but his english is very awesome and i think he has like 5% of brazilian accent when speaking english.
She said a few things wrong tho, Turkey by land area definitely isn’t a small country in my opinion. And i guess she exaggerated a little bit about the school thing. I don’t know how is it possible.
@@xxcarlyy9786 She is not from Cyprus, there are the Prince İslands in front of İstanbuıl and also a part of İstanbul. She is from Heybeli Ada which is one of them.
Wow I am surprised to see a lady from my homeland when she said she is from a very small country. Thus, she must be from north cyprus 😊 probably she travels from Kyrenia to Nicosia for school
@moonrabbit5107 there are turkish and greek names as well. As long as we are writing in English in this platform, I used internationally used English names for the cities. Why is that a problem?
@moonrabbit5107 I am a turkish cypriot. Kyrenia is english. kyrineia is greek. Nicosia is english, Lefkosia is greek. Girne turkish, lefkoşa turkish. All right?
@moonrabbit5107I do mind being recognized of course. But firstly, the politicians must do what they must do for it. This is not a platform for argueing about our mindsets on this deep topic. I assure you that I am a turkish nationalist. But historical realities should be known for good.
@moonrabbit5107 I didnt mean that talking about politics on youtube is wrong or sth like that. Of course it is free to talk. But this specific topic needs to be talked thoroughly imo. Regards
Eu to defendendo noutros comentários q ele seria só tímido 😁😁 me chamou a atenção que ele parecia largadão assim, quase desrespeitoso no meio do grupo.
The French who said swimming is not famous in our country like WTFFFFFFFFFFFF swimming is famous we have a world record swimmer, the next Michael Phelps and the most famous woman swimmer!!!!! I can feel that swimming is not her hobby, I’m a swimmer and I know swimming is popular is France.
Robby william's daughter's name is Zelda because he really liked playing the first Zelda game . i guess there are more people called zelda than we imagine
Falado o nome certo? Ele pronunciou o nome certo, ele é brasileiro.

This is a little bit unfair, because they don't have the stereotypical accents of their countries. But also, Gulgun immediately gave it away to me with her name. That name is SO Turkish. They really shouldn't ask their names. The other ones were more common, but Gulgun is so typical Turkish.
@@kimkardashiansdaddy2744 I was indeed talking about her name that has the ü letter in it with saying "word" but you are right though, i should've just said letter. Thanks.
I'm Brazilian and everyone that I know/knew plays a lot of online video games. The preferences differ, but that's like, a constant between the people of the region that I live (and from my generation also, I guess).
Almost noone has their country’s specific accents .. and on top of it she tried to make guesses also based on their answers/hobbies/lives, not only based on their accents which messed up like in Turkiye/North Cyprus case
As a Brazilian I feel way more familiar with Zelda instead of André, especially when it came to the pronunciation part. Pronouncing words like "mountain" or "Manhattan". The "T" is basically silent, and that's what makes it hard
@lucasprestes I don't know for braziliian but I'm french, and I know that absolutly everyone in france can do the typicall french accent if they want, and really, it's hillarous
By the first introduction, I found the Turkish girl obvious, also obvious that the fourth one is asian, but could also be Thai or any of the neighbouring countries. The last one sounded Italian OR Spanish at the introduction. Similar languages, so I guess that makes sense. But the French, that normally is the most obvious one, was hard after the introduction. The Brazilian guy... impossible to guess.
At 4:30.. Turkey is a small country? Wow hold on :D As a geographical , %80 of European countries can fit inside of Turkey.. Turkey is one of the largest country in Europe

If André wanted to hide even better his identity, he should have changed his name. André usually is Andres in spanish speaking countries...when she thought on South America - it only left Brazil with a viable option.
Every time that I was listening to the name "Zelda", I was thinking in my mind "Zelda merda". 🤣🤣 Sorry... It's an old brazilian meme, you guys wont understand it.
I'm just wondering why asian countries' peoples give up their original names and use western names instead of asian names just like Vietnamese girl in this video. I know a korean girl named herself Namie instead of her original name Nam Hee. Don't give up your culture Asians. Don't get scared that western people mispronounce your names.
Many reasons. Firstly, this is a game so use her true name would reveal her nationality right from the start. Secondly, to easier communicate with people who would have a hard time to remember or pronounce her name
You can't pronounce vietnamese name at the first time, and hard for vietnamese people living in the another contruy. Like try pronounce my name with "Ngân"
Andre is very serious, he has an angry face. Brazilians were supposedly nice, another proof of stereotypes. Sofia is very nice, Jenni, Zelda and Gulgun are more shy it seems.
Andre! In brazil you have such a good weather and you stay close in your house playing videogames 🤦 the lady from Vietnam is very cute and sweet. The lady from Italy doesn't help her to much saying she is far from the sea, considering the idea the world have to italy, and the distances can be different between the US and Italy... Because all italy can be considered close to the seaside from an american! Nice game anyway
"good weather" most stereotypical thing I've heard about Brazil ever. Brazil has a lot of different regions, there are cities close to the beach, but there are also big cities comparable to New York. In some parts of the country it's sunny all year, in others it's really cold. You really can't make this type of comment without knowing where he grew up first
Dude, you got tired of getting sweat all time LMFAO, belive me, its awesome wheather, but sometimes, you Just want an AC and a really cold soft drink or beer and a shade😂😂😂
Brazil has different climates, more or less similar to those in America. humid, dry, cold and hot climates. It would be naive to say this, since Brazil is bigger than Western Europe.
They did not speak with their countries' accents. French one speaks like Korean lol. Turkish one tries to speak like American. It would be better if they reflected their countries's accent instead of trying to avoid it .
Because the most important thing in the comunication is understanding. If you put AN-DRÉ like in PT-BR, is harder to people understand, since they're not portuguese speakers.
