Some other Sim died while looking for my 5-star celebrity Sim at the temple. It was kind of scary. But the Grim Reaper came to my Sim to get her autograph. LOL. I didn’t know Grim Reaper is susceptible to Get Famous.
Danie Seifert yea it can get creepy though, I had a teenager that was famous and adults were able to be romantic cause she was famous I think it might of been patched though
You're easily one of the better content creators for The Sims 4, it's unfortunate that so few youtubers actually explore the depths this game has to offer the way you do. This video was no exception and the tips were lovely. In return, I have one for you. Seriously consider dance machine as a trait for sims that you want to be constantly active. They are able to recover energy from napping about three times faster through " Disco Nap ". Disco nap is so strong that sometimes I opt for making my sim sleep on the couch rather than their actual bed. Thank you for all you do, Carl.
So, here was MY strategy... I blundered my way through the jungle with 8 adults and almost no protective gear. The only thing I did to prepare was buy some machetes, and gave everyone each 8 servings of non spoilable food. I had no idea what I was doing in the temple, so I brute forced my way through every trap. Everyone was miserable the entire time; i had at least over 20 insect/bat attacks, three people get poisoned, but no deaths. I completed the temple, and sent everyone safely back to the lodging. About an hour after returning, the d-bag vegetarian ended up dying of starvation mere feet away from the stove...
My vampire teen has had several trips to the jungle and has become quite rich. He doesn't seem to be freaked out by anything other than the plasma bats. I literally yell at him Your'e bigger and battier than them! I love that teens can go off on on dangerous adventures alone in Sims 4. They have a lot more freedom than in sims 3.
Since last year's price policy change I haven't purchased any new Sims4 packs (in my country prices literally doubled, and my last purchase was Fitness Stuff), but watching your videos make me itch to get Seasons, and now Jungle Adventure more than anything!

I decided to make a fresh Sim and attempt to live in Selvadorada from the get-go. A Fresh Sim means no skills. Which translates to a ton of failed skill checks. Which in turn translates into a bunch of temple trap triggers. But, it was neat to see that you can train skills by doing adventure stuff. Clearing vines by hand, instead of using a machete, trains your Gardening skill. Studying a trap slowly trains its relevant skill. Selecting the wrong activation for temple traps can randomly have your Sim avoid the triggered trap, which brings a decent skill boost if it happens. I'd definitely recommend spending some time maxing out your Selvadoradian Culture skill before really going to the temple, since at that point you can buy Bone Dust for antidotes for 5 Simoleons apiece, which is definitely better than ordering it over the computer for 1,000. Also, about boring conversations, it seems like 2 of the same conversation topic is the limit before that topic makes the conversation become boring.
Going at a later stage in life helps because you can earn Never Weary Trait and Steel Bladder Trait. This will help Sims stay in the jungle for 48 hours or so, without going back to the holiday lodge. You can also get Forever Full and Forever Fresh. And it is good to go in pairs or in 3s. I use alternate Sims to do different things and there are more than enough dig sites to help both get the Archaeology Aspiration.
me and my friend get the HARDLY hungry and weary trait, mostly anti septic basically where it goes, SLOWER but im not a god sim, trust me ive played a game where i bomb rush the FOREVER traits and my sim is just a robot at that point
I guess you could have your sim listen to the ear buds to keep their fun up. High fitness and gardening means you can save machettes for the text quests, and you can just use your hands to get through the vines. Logic also helps too :D I always get confused, so i am in awe at you listing of what leads to where....meanwhile i have probably gone through gates and gotten lost :P
I have 99 apple and 99 cherries on my sim and he is max rock climbing skill so wherever I'm going I can always craft energy bars on the way which really fits jungle adventuring and surviving

Is it possible to send more than one Sim on the adventure at once? Say I have one Sim with good Charisma and low Archeology but the other has high Archeology but low Charisma
Someone may have commented this, but I'm playing on an Xbox one, and I have an option to "Survey for Dig Pile" and or randomly gives me more dig piles that weren't there before ⛏️ You have to wait a while in between, though
you dont need only archeology to explore the jungle and solve the mysteries you need maxed the culture high close to max fitness and high close to maxed handiness to disable the traps
I was playing this today and I got through that first gate but once my Sim did the trap choices she just came back out again. What am I doing wrong? I can't get into the actual jungle.
This is a kids game but I have a really hard time with this 😂 Love it though, nice change of pace from my very mundane playing. But I think I'll have to cheat some to actually get through this. I don't even know how to get in to the jungle, lol.
Loove your videos..I then most informative while I find FGG the most entertaining.m I also on the other hand think you could speak a little faster..of at all possible. I have to speed the playback up a notch just to not fall asleep. Lbvs. Sorry not sorry😬
wow! this is a lot! doesn't"t seem like much fun. I'm somehow regretting purchasing this. I. really want island living, but the bundle offered 3 at one price and I really wanted seasons, so I had to choose between that or island living. so I chose seasons, movie fun or whatever it's called and jungle adventure.
