No ads, no cues, and you get right down to business with no introduction??? I ❤this. Thank you so much. I wish more teachers would do these types of videos.
I have been practicing yoga for more than 4 years. Your workout make me feel like a complete beginner. A warm thank you for this very humbling session, you gave me a long-term objective :)
this was absolutely incredible. definitely much more advanced than my current beg/int level, but I wanted to try anyway and just see how it went - totally invigorating and inspiring. I modified for the poses I couldn't do yet (one day I will have jump throughs and a lotus!) and felt so amazing after. Thank you so much!
Wonderful! Yes, do the best you can and modify where needed. It takes time and practice for things to unfold and develop. However, the exhilarating feeling is yours from the moment you start!
This is so beautifully done. Made me feel like I was actually in the studio doing my practice . I am so amazed by your precision 😍😍😍 sending you so much looove
This video is just perfect for getting immersed in the Ashtanga flow, especially when familiar with the poses and not wanting too much extra explanation and delay - just the Sanskrit counting and the asana names. I've been looking for a video like this since my TTC 2 years ago. Your posture is amazing too. Namaste.
My goodness, your form is absolutely flawless !!! Blessings to you for your focus and dedication. And thank you for sharing your obvious gifts with us. 🙏🏾
Both yoga mind and body were sent into the next dimension. Had to modify a few Asanas but felt proud to have made it threw with my best effort . Thank you a ton !! Namaste to all
I'm so grateful for this practice! I remember the first time I tried it! This video was my start-up in the Ashtanga Yoga. It's been 3 years and I'm sure I want to be an ashtanga yoga teacher some day. Thanks Laruga!
@@varunkumar-hw4bg I just did one called ashtanga fundamentals with Laruga. It was pretty hard for me so I think I will stick with it until it becomes easier and then start trying this later.
Thank you for this experience. I was so nervous to try Ashtanga but now I feel like I understand it so much more. I can’t wait to deepen my practice and see what I can discover. Namaste 🙏🏼
This vídeo is SO perfect! Calm, full of grace, perfect orientation. I’m loving it and counting on it everyday in this quarantine! Thank u so much, Laruga and AloYoga. But, with all love and respect, I feel it’s worth an edition in the end, so we can chant Closing Mantra together. Lots of love and gratitude.
I am so grateful to you for sharing your beautiful practise. I feel so lucky that I was somehow led to you a year ago when I started my yoga journey. It was walk in the dark then ..trying many videos and apps.. when I finally discovered your full primary video... Magic! Due to some old injuries I recently took a step back to your half primary video. Absolutely spot on. Your energy is wonderful, your pace, calm voice and gentle presence. I feel so connected and calm with myself during practise nothing else maters it is like the best dream! I love late evening practise when everything around me is quiet. I feel stronger, more present within myself and with others, grounded. This is a way to physical ,spiritual and emotional freedom. Thank you
Thank you Laruga. I started ashtanga yoga since 2 months now that I discovered you and it's for sure the best practice Ive done till now because of it full involvement of body mind and soul and I can see changes and improvement.
Perfect, graceful postures, the best is jump through and chaturang, all aasanas are too good. Marichayasan is also extremely difficult. Excellent yogmudra. Your body is so flexible, can't imagine. Very dedicated personality. Thanks a lot for sharing! What a lovely inspiring video. Congratulations and blessings...
Thanks you LarugaYoga. I just finished training and am practicing like mad. I found your site to be the most helpful of all. You are lovely and easy to follow. Many many thanks Nameste I bow to you.
Thank you very much for this video. As a beginner for Ashtanga yoga, this is great for home practise at our pace. For those who think that some poses are impossible, just sit on the mat and wait to rejoin during those pose and flow that we can manage at our level. That’s what happen in real class. As a on and off student with Ashtanga, I learn that I am unable to do every pose but just enjoy the flow and a good stretch.
Thank you so much for your beautiful practice you're sharing with this planet. I started practicing more regularly 8 months ago, and your practice led me to continue my practice. Happy holidays and another great new year 2022 with full of love and light. Namaste.
I just did half this class. I love this teacher. I have a rare neurological disease and I lack strength and some mobility from the waist down. Some transitions take long for me or not possible due to nerve damage and dead nerves. I have been doing primary vinyasa flow for about 2 years but wanted to try this class. It is really intense but I love her teaching. I may never be able to do it 100% but I hope I can improve and gain more strength.
This is so great to hear. Yoga practice will do you a world of good. Thank you for sharing your experience. I'd love to hear how things go with continued practice!
Thank you so much for this practice. As a lapsed Ashtangi, this is perfect for re-finding my practice and is wonderfully grounding during these very unsettling days we are currently living xxx
Exactly! I haven't practiced the primary series seriously in 11 years. No better time than now to recommit to the practice. Thank you for making this available for those of us trapped at home.
Yes this is me too, I looked around RU-vid and subscription classes too before I found this one which is perfect for rediscovering my love of Ashtanga.
You have a beautiful practice - thank you. The tranquility in your voice makes this a most lovely guide. I am constantly starting over and so grateful for your sharing this here.
Think I may have found my jam… Vinyasa never quite did it for me / Hatha a bit more / Iyengar quickly became my fave ‘til I discovered Ashtanga S’thing about the same sequence, same poses, the meditative effect of breath w poses not to mention the exhilarated feeling when practice is completed… Thank you so v much for posting this… watching you practice w such grace gives one s’thing to aspire to!
Love the ritualistic and comprehensive nature of the practice. Big shoutout to T. Krishnamarcharya, K. Pattabhi Jois, the thousands of Ashtanga Vinyasa yogis around the world, and to you Laruga Glaser for blessing us all with this practice! Grateful to all my fellow yogis out there practicing along as well. Namaste 🙏🕉️
I have been practicing this series for a month now. Thank you so much for touching my life and making me fall in love with the practice so much that it has now become an integral part of my day and I believe I have become an Ashtanga learner for life now.
Thank you Laruga! I practice with you almost every day and for the past 2 months I’ve improved a lot. This video is super helpful, and I am glad that I found it. Thanks a lot!
been practicing ashtanga for 5 years now and this is by far the best led class i have seen on youtube. not as rigorous as the full primary series but still has all the essentials to make you feel empowered and strong by the end of it. soothing voice, breaths are not rushed, mantra is on point and no ads is a blessing! thank you laruga🙏🏽
Thanks Laruga! I started practicing yoga when I saw your practice, I don't know ... but I can see in your practice more than asanas .. you really transmit another spiritual level. I admire you a lot.
Dear Laura, thank you so much for allowing everyone to access this video and without the interruptions of advertisements. You have taught me much and practicing with you has elevated my own practice and I look forward everyday to spending this time with you. God bless, Namaste
Doing ashtanga for only about a week and a half and already see improvements in flexibility and stamina. I cant even imagine what doing it for a longer time could do to my body. Ashtanga practice became the highlight of my day. Will sure continue doing it. Thank you for this video!
Thank you so much for sharing this video! You are an inspiration and especially during these times an hour long Ashtanga video so well shot... really is a blessing in the skies. Thank you from Berlin.
This video has changed my life. I have been practicing this on and off for a few years. A few weeks ago I decided to get serious and dig deeper. I have been waking up and 5 and going right into this practice. I have noticed that when I begin the day with focus and effort in my Yoga practice that my day is manageable and the stresses are not as burdensome. There was one day when I was not able to practice and I immediately realized how 'off the rails,' I felt. So thank you Laruga for sharing this video I will continue to use this until I have mastered this first sequence.
I practice this routine 4x a week watching this video. I do what i can. The assanas that are impossibly for me to perform i just create a way around it. Im so grateful for your teachings. Xx
Amazing! Yes, do the best you can with what you have on any given day. With continued practice and focus the poses that are impossible will be possible!!! xoxox
There are many who have helped me in my healing and yoga journey. I have learned something new from them everytime. But Laruga Glaser is making me stronger every single day. I can't explain how much my life has changed after following your this video daily from last six months six days a week. You are my one of the GURU. शत शत प्रणाम। 🙏 (Hundreds of salutes).
One of the most beautiful practices I’ve ever seen. I didn’t practice yoga for very long, a few months only but I loved it. But this is an other level. Lovely
Laruga is a wonderful teacher and her voice is so calm. I found this class quite challenging for a beginner student. Maybe in the description it should be stated that this is a half primary series for advanced students. Greetings from Madrid.
Laruga , Thanks for the this teaching video where you are guiding with so precision along with the breath flow..it's an experience to see you .. ❤️.love and gratitude 🙏
This is soo hard my third time through this practice thank you for this video!!! This is one of my Home practices during this Corona Virus Stuff much love to everyone!!!
Laruga thank you for the guided series … I could not connect to my practice or connect to my class online due to the coronavirus etc … so I just googled you and it was perfect … many thanks again
I stopped my practice due to many reasons: my teacher moved to another country, so did I, I got injured, work, etc. I knew I had to come back and I tried other videos that did not convinced me because of the constant distracting talking...until I found yours. Thank you, it is perfect! Thank you for not allowimg adds! Adding your channel to my fav ones!
